woah.

If Chicago beat The Lions I will ride around Coventry naked on a white horse!

Again I wouldn't bet against the Packers particularly at home when there is a polar vortex in town! Not saying Patriots are not a better team either!

My only concern now is that you have backed Seattle, ordinarily I would too but now I have to think about itWink!

I hope I haven't been a bit premature re Bears. It is cold and wet!

Good start by the bears (my finger hovered over 1.8 at one point but fought the urge) but easily handled by the Lions.  Stafford back to form against the sorry Bears D.
Loss of 0.35

Didn't stay up for the Seahawks but nice to get on the board.  Win 1.1

Balance +0.75

for the best team in the NFL at the moment 2.6 (which is where the Pats started earlier this week) is a remarkable price.  It's the best value IMO since they were even longer priced to go to Indianapolis and win a couple of weeks ago).

New England at GB - lay GB: 2 points to win 3 points
Cinc at Tampa Bay - lay Cinc: 0.55 to win 1 point
Cinc at TB - Back under 44.5 points 1point to 1 point
Tenn at Houston - lay Houston 0.34 to win 1 point
NO at Pitts - lay Pitt 0.54 to win 1 point

What's the thinking behind laying Pittsburgh. The Saints can't defend or play away from home.

Had Pitts as 1.8 shots - so happy enough to lay 1.5x.
Steelers too inconsistent to be that short against a fellow mid-rank side - they've just scraped past the Titans and lost to the Jets in their last 2.  Not exactly top notch form.
Agree the home field advantage may make a difference which is why I had 'em as odds on.

I agree that the 8-5 for the Patriots earlier in the week was the value.... the 5-4 they are now is closer to what i would have them.

Really looking forward to the pats @ packers, Would be on the pats at the prices but i may just take a watching brief and hopefully enjoy a good game.

Going to have a drink and watch the Packers, will have to tape Homeland. Got my Thanksgiving doggie bag ready to be warmed up. Americans in London do put on a good spread! The only problem is that most don't watch football ( speaking in the American vernacular! ). Got plenty of football ( back to English ) bets running till 9pm so today should be a feast.

Patriots are probably a better all round side but I am hoping the Polar Vortex will count for something and at least the crowd will not put off the Packers Offence ( I don't normally apply words like offence to sport buy I guess I have bought into the programme ).

Big Ben is a liability at times for the Steelers.  What a team they would be with a more active QB

Was going to say the O has looked pretty poor on the road at times but today look well on top. Strange game! I expected more of the Pats but let's see.  It is cold baby!

Still think pats will put up points, but on that first quarter evidence I'm not sure they will keep up with rodgers. Worried as a pats backer.

Junior,

The handicap is now 10.5 on Bet365. That may offer you the best out. You dont have to try and win it all back either. reduce the loss...unless of course you think Pats can winLaugh

Hope Shields is ok!

Sorry Sodoku. I was being a bit premature there. Of course Pats can still win thisWhoops

When: 30 Nov 14 21:15
Haha, was just typing to say i think i might have missed the 10.5 after that score! More of what i expected from the pats on offence, have to persist to try and run the ball.

Surprised Bellichick didn't go run heavy from the start, like they played against the Colts..... defending power running game is a big Packers achilles heel
By:
Sudoku_Junior
When: 30 Nov 14 21:18
Yeah they do struggle against the run. Would set apply action to hit them deep. Saints did it successfully i felt against them in new orleans.

I have eaten a pile of turkey, pumkin, sweet potato and the like. Had a couple of glasses of vin and a number of my bets have come in.  I am just going to enjoy the FOOTBALL! of course I will only enjoy it as long at Packers win! No more betting tonight!  Good luck to you though
