All the Hawks lovers have been very quiet this week after seeing them getting their backsides handed to them on a plate by Phillip Rivers
Now we know that Manning is far better than Rivers and we know the Broncos are better than the Chargers.
Six months ago Denver started fav against the Seahawks in the Super Bowl and now we are getting 5 points of a start. And let's forget this 12th man nonsense. The Cardinals have won there. The Saints should have won there. The 49ers were disgracefully robbed there. The Packers have won there and then imploded this season.....and still should have won.
Manning will be smarting from Feb. he won't make the same mistakes again. Manning learns. This will be a clinic.

LIONS TO ROAR INTO ACTION
The Panthers did a massive number on the Lions last week but the Packers D is not in the same league and I'm still a huge fan of this Lions' O. It's explosive and they can easily torch this Green Bay D. Even the Jets found it easy to move the ball against them last week, while the Lions are average in the secondary and Green Bay could easily exploit that, their front four are extremely strong and I can see them getting to Rogers time and time again as the Packers O line has struggled this season. The Lions, at home, by less than a field goal looks a great bet to me.

KAP TO KILL THE COWARDLY CARDINALS
it's fair to say Kapernick had a shocker on MNF but I'm backing him to bounce back here against the Cardinals. Kap has his critics but he normally reacts well after a poor performance and the 49ers can last week's blip behind them against a Cardinals side who don't seem as good as last season. 49ers should have too many guns for them

FINNS TO FLAY THE FLAKEY CHIEFS
There seems to be a lot of love for the chiefs in this one but I'm not having it at all. The Chiefs have been horrible so far this season and they are banged up with so many injuries, The Dolphins came back down to earth with a bang last week at Buffalo but that is no easy place to go. Two weeks ago they slammed the Pats at home. This is far easier pickings for the Finns and I expect them to prevail easily here
LUCK TO LAY INTO THE JADED JAGS
I'm mystified that the Colts are only giving up a touchdown on the spread here. This is the jags they are playing, Washington - yes Washington - put up 41 points against them last week. I thought the Colts played well against the Eagles last week and were the better team for most of the game. Somehow they lost it but there were a lot of positives to take from it and their run game go better. There is no way Indy are going 0-3. And they will crucify the Jags here.

Seahawks fan here probably not having a bet unless my discipline goes in the next few hours . A bit early in the season for me. However, things to consider:
- 43-8 at a neutral venue, now at the most difficult place for a team to go and win. - Broncos have improved their defence since, DeMarcus Ware, etc.......Oh wait....that defence was smashed by the Colts in the second half at Denver's home opener and neutralized by a poor Chiefs offense last week, also in Denver. - Broncos have had time to 'work out' the Seahawks and how best to counter them.....err....surely they must have thought they had done the same before the Superbowl 43-8 hiding - Wes Welker is back.....oh wait he played in the Superbowl. - Seahawks defence owned by the Chargers last week .......all the more reason for them to be supercharged to get back on track today. So whats are the reasons to back the Broncos apart from " Manning is far better than Rivers and we know the Broncos are better than the Chargers"? |
