Not sure it's the best, but I saw Draft Day last weekend. Liked it a lot. Don't be put off by Kevin Costner being the lead, he was fine. He is the GM of the Browns, and the movie is about how they tackle draft day and the deals they make. Solid back up cast, Jennifer Garner, Puff Daddy, Denis Leary and several other faces you'll recognise. worth a watch.
Rudy is still the king of football movies. Love the Friday Night Lights series as well, movie was meh.
Necessary roughness is decent, it has some cameos from NFL players of that time,(1991) jerry Rice, "too tall" Jones etc. The Waterboy is good for an Adam Sandler film especially country music star Jerry Reeds (rip) role as coach Red Belieaux. I will have a look out for Draft Day I have never seen it.
