Simple Rules -
1 - Pay a $50 entry fee.
2 - Pick a losing team each week from the NFL.
There are 2 brackets - a champions bracket and a consolation bracket. If your selected team wins you are moved from the champs bracket to the consolation bracket. If another of your picks wins... you are out.
Simple enough!
a) If you pick the same team twice - You LOSE!
b) If your pick wins - You LOSE!
c) If your pick ties - You LOSE!
d) If your pick is not received by 00:01 on Sunday (or 00:01 Thursday for Thursday Night Game) - You LOSE!
Entry Fee is split as follows - 80% to Champs Bracket. 20% to Consolation Bracket. So if we get 20 players, $800 for the champ, $200 for the consolation.
To win all you need to do is pick correctly a losing team until you are the sole person left in the champs bracket. If all remaining teams in the champs bracket lose, all remaining players and prize money will be added to the consolation bracket.
If a player wins the winners bracket, and teams are still fighting in the consolation bracket, we obviously continue until there is one winner in each bracket.
Note - If people are still picking losing teams after week 17 (crazy unlikely), then you can pick any playoff team playing that week, even if you have picked that team before.
This will be run using a Google spreadsheet. This is set up already, and all teams will be input before kickoff on the Thursday and Sunday, meaning you can keep track of how you are doing in game.
