General consensus here (and everywhere)- which I subscribe to - that no way the Packers can win a play-off match with that defense.
If Rodgers wasn't playing then 49ers could be +10 point favourites.
Cold weather could be a factor as Kaepernick has never played in below freezing conditions, but of course the expectation is this will be minimised by the 49ers running the ball (which they do most of the time anyway).
- I rate the 49ers, but still have reservations, - "they don't like it 'up 'em"
at all. Tough image but have wilted badly when confronted with equal physicality. As I said before the "bully" of the NFL (not a bad thing to be, as not everyone wants to or is capable of standing up to them). The Kaep factor is lessened this season as defenses are wiser to him.
- The script for me is that they beat Green Bay, but come unstuck in either Carolina or Seattle.
- Current plan (like first game), get on 49ers early, should be just too good for Packers......then get something on Packers so I can cheer for them from both a financial and partisan perspective at the end.

49ers have to be the unluckiest team in football. No holding call on the kickoff last year in the Superbowl, no holding call there.

To be fair having seen the replay I don't think that play was Pass Interferance. Should have been some others earlier in the game called but that wasn't.

I want the Packers to win because I prefer them to 49ers..... but perhaps it might be better for remaining games @ Carolina and maybe @ Seattle if 49ers in. Wouldn't fancy Pack away from Lambeau

These 2 teams have been far the most impressive of the wildcard teams on show so far. It's been a great close game to watch.

If I wasn't already on the 49ers big to win the Superbowl then I would be big on them next week. I will be surprised if the Panthers can put up as big a game as the Packers did today. Also conditions won't be as bad.
