Shame. The team played well last night given the QB was a backup who hadn't started with the offence before. Orton played about as well as could have been expected. He missed a few regulation passes on third down but he just wasn't on the same wavelength given the lack of practice. The second interception was simply a poor throw, had he thrown that in front of Miles Austin then I think he at least gets in field goal range as there was a ton of open field in front of him - such fine margins as that was the difference between winning and losing the division!

Easy to say but I think if Romo was playing then the Cowboys would have got the job done last night. Not because of the last interception but beforehand Orton missed several important throws on third down which were like 3rd down and 3 or 3rd down and 2 which Romo normally makes. Not really a criticism of Orton as you couldn't really expect much more given the circumstances but frustating all the same.
