Always think Week 12 is where the business begins....always liked the ring of Week 12 for some reason...!

This week it's close to make-or-break for all the 4-6 teams - while not completely gone you'd have to say any of them that go to 4-7 have a serious uphill battle - i.e win out and go 5-0 to have any chance of post-season.

Ravens - lose at home to the Jets go to 4-7, while not gone as they could finish 5-0 and get through, but @Lions, @Bengals and home to Patriots its hard to see that happening. I can't get it out of my head they are still contenders! Admittedly the darkest of dark horses, pity, as I said before if Boldin was still there they'd be right in the mix

Titans & @ Raiders - more 4-6 teams, Titans are away to both Colts and Broncos in next two weeks, so lose here and its certainly curtains. Raiders have Chiefs and Broncos both at home in their schedule. Loser here is 8-8 at very best. So I'd say for certain loser here is history.

Steelers & @ Browns - yet again 4-6 teams clashing! As per match-up above, hard to see loser getting to 9-7

Chargers - @ Chiefs. Have to play them again, plus Broncos - if they lose they are not done, but hanging on by their fingernails. This could be a close one, sneaky feeling for an upset here.

Giants - beat Dallas at home and they are contenders to win the divisionShocked, lose and its "all she wrote", they'd be 2 and half games behind Cowboys.

Packers - although 5-5 and not 4-6, its the same scenario, lose and hard to see them making play-offs given the situation in the NFC. Hope they win - as the Packers with Rodgers (best QB in the NFL imo) could potentially beat Seahawks in Seattle.

Not in the prediction game myself but if pressed on these games:

Ravens, Raiders, Steelers, Chargers, and Packers keep alive

Titans, Browns and Giants preparing for last rites, looking for a miracle

giants arent contenders to win ****.

last 5 games are at washington, detroit and san diego. home to seattle and washington. be lucky to win 2 of those. probably end the season 5-11. philly will win at least 9 games. and are currently 2 games better off in the division so the giants probably have to win all their remaining 6 games to have a slim chance of winning the division. not a prayer of that happening.

If Giants beat Cowboys, they are certainly contenders......only because of the division. I don't think they are very good, but not as bad as some have made out - have history of finishing strong.

I think Eagles will probably do it (I certainly hope so, a long-standing Eagles fan of over 20 yearsHappy)...but they haven't beaten sh1t either, and I still regard them as flakey.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think Titans are ok too, but I also think Raiders are alright as well. Intriguing game

i think the cowgirls will beat them by 20 points. seriously. even if the giants somehow win the game, they arent gonna get back to 8-8. rubbish team. their points difference is worse than tampa bays. theres only 3 teams in the entire league who have scored less points than the giants. yet somehow cos they scrape wins against philly, oakland, minnesota and a rodgers-less packers theyre in the play off race. no way jose. the division is between eagles and cowgirls. gonna come down to the decider in week 17 Cool

NYG NYG.  Beware of those Giants.  They were a good team playing poorly.  Now that they can smell some sort of success, I expect their darling princesses to perform.  They could easily finish out with a 6 - 0 run.  Easily is probably not the right word, but how about they have a better then average probability to finish out 6-0, than 3-3.  Let's hear from all the fans of those pretender Seahawks pipe up.

Dallas is easily defeated tomorrow, not that I'll be betting them because I don't trust any game to go the way I want pre kickoff, but I suspect a healthy in play bet on those Giants will be in order.
Eli has had something wrong with him almost all year, but he's starting to click, maybe because his guys are getting better. Romo is just a stats producer, without results.  Who would you rather have ?

Rest of the team, NYG or Cowboys, I'll take New York.  Right now anyway.

like i said, only 3 teams in the entire league have scored less points so far than the giants. biggest mystery on the planet why everybody is suddenly masturbating over them. id take 5k at even money they dont reach 7 wins.

obviously they can win against dallas, i dont think they will, but its possible. anybody can beat anybody especially at home. but dallas should be favourites, without any doubt whatsoever. theyre 5-5 cos of an insanely tough schedule so far. they just need to keep calm and do what they normally do. if they lose, its cos the new orleans battering has shaken confidence. they totally threw away the win at detroit, couldnt have had the game more in the bag if they tried. only lost at kansas by 1 point, lost that crazy shootout to denver. could easily be sat here 8-2. if they had the piss easy schedule the likes of denver and kansas city have had, dallas would be 8-2. they arent the best team in the nfc, but theyre only 5-5 cos of the butal schedule so far. and im no dallas fan, i pretty much hate them.

Steelers are the bet of the day @ Browns imo.

As per other thread, I would have thought Dallas at 2.32 here, is bet of the day.......at worst evens money chance imo.

Though I agree Steelers at 2.3 represents good value as well.

...I only trade on televised match (usually), need good liquidity for my type of trading, so have to go with it. Match is ok, - I'm the problem - I just got on both teams at wrong time....but a bit heavy (not too bad)...can red out now for 6% loss on current bank.

Browns rarely win when down 10 pts at HT. 2 wins in 40 matches with -10 pts or more. That doesn't equate to 1.3s.

Big sack, FG for Ravens here will be huge, give 12 pts lead....hard to see Jets scoring 2 TDS without reply against the wind in the final quarter

Ravens next. They rarely lose when up at HT at home, so 1.12 is value.

If Geno Smith is the Jets QB of the future then Sanchez is Joe Montana. Poor choice though, SDKY makes game choices for all the wrong reasons, SD KC looked a real good game and it has been.

I wonder why they show the games they do.  What's the deal ?  Of course it's all to do with money and not just some NFL ignorant Sky guy picking what games will be televised from his asre.

I think they do ok generally.......last year they did well I wrote in and said so, got a shout out by big CecilHappy....as I said I had complained in 2011 when there was just some illogical selections.

Jets and Ravens would have been one of my 3 picks for this slot today, hard to get it right, all the time (we all should knowCool)

Though given we see the Ravens on Thursday again, it was my No.3.

Hard to pick matches and not have a blow-out at some stage.
