RIVERS TO RIP THE REDSKINS APART Big bet on the San Diego Chargers (moneyline) at evens.
Rivers is the 2nd highest rated QB this season behind Peyton Manning. He has been playing real well this season. The Redskins defense is just awful. Manning put up 31 points on the Redskins in the last quarter last week. If the Chargers defense play well then they win this game as I can't see the Redskins stopping the Chargers from scoring 30+ points.

JETS D TO STOP THE SILKY SAINTS Big bet on the New York Jets +6.5pts at 10-11.
I think this game will be tighter than many think. I'm not saying the Jets will win but I think it will be tight. The "Ryan Bowl" has all the makings of a cracker. The Saints have all the weapons on offense but their offensive live isn't the greatest and I reckon the Jets D will get pressure on Brees.
The Jets tend to raise their games for the better teams and they beat the Patriots at home a few weeks back. They are coming off a horrible loss but Ryan will have them fired up for this.

PRIOR TO EASE A WIN AGAINST THE EAGLES Big Bet on the Oakland Raiders (moneyline) at 5-6
I see there is a bit of a punt going on the Eagles - not sure why. Is it because Foles is back? Anyway the Raiders are on a roll and have beaten the Chargers and the Steelers at home in their last two games in the Black Hole. The Eagles will hold no fears whatsoever to them. The Eagles secondary is just shocking, plus how will they deal with Prior when he goes on his runs?
Oakland all day long for me

no Seahawks bet this week? I was looking forward to your analysis.

Alright Clay, hope you are well. I'm with you on the Raiders, just had a bit at 10/11 as I also think the Eagles are absolutely terrible but I'm with the Saints -5.5 points. I think they are genuine superbowl contenders and will get the job done nicely today.

Swagger - u might be right. And I'm a huge fan of the Saints, it's just there offensive line that concerns me. And I always believe if u get to Brees u can slow down the Saints. Remember in Tampa earlier in the season? They struggled that night as Tampa, in the second half, got lots of pressure on Brees. Plus the Jets are on a win one/lose one streak at the moment

I will never forgive Rivers for that pathetic effort late on in the game when they had 1st and goal from the one yard line. How the Chargers lost this game I will never know

they only had the chance because of shanahans crazy play calling

Redskins were the better team

have you ever thought of just tipping who you think wont win?
Report ClayDavis November 4, 2013 12:53 PM GMT
sideshowbob - I can't abide aftertimers. Write your comments before the games in future.
FWIW I got one completely wrong. Totally mis-read it and was way off the mark. San Diego had three opportunities to score from the one yard line with less than a minute to play in order to win the game and they failed. And in the last one I got right having swam against the tide of opinion on here and in the market.
Tis life. Happens
My opinions are here before the games

Talking the talk is easy but walking the walk and putting opinions and research up in advance is a lot harder! Nuff respect to anyone who does!

rivers is a show pony and nowhere near as good as he was a few years back, SD are going nowhere.  seems as if there are two eagles teams and depends which one shows up but they could win nfc east because the other teams are even more challenged and dallas flatter to deceive each year since aikman came and went.  good call on the jets though, not many fancied them, don't have the stats but i guess saints playing outdoors in frozen north (even at this time of year - just got back from miami, high 80s via newark, low 40s) aren't the same offensive threat as in nice domes.

for this weekend i'm going for eagles over packers, bengals over ravens and saints over cowboys

He's been one of the best QB's this season...

exactly show pony - look at his stats and then look at the 4-4 record and the games they couldn't win
Report DirkDiggler November 10, 2013 5:11 PM GMT
None of the record they have has anything to do with their awful defense then?
