I found this week tough, very tough.
I really fancy the Eagles but I don;t like the spread of -5.5pts so I'm going to give it a miss.
BIG BET ON THE DETROIT LIONS -3 at 10-11.
I like the Lions last week despite losing to the Bengals last time out. I'm not convinced about the Cowboys yet. My friend is a massive Eagles fan and he was at the Cowboys game and he is convinced Nick Foles was concussed before the game started as he said it was one of the worst QB displays he had ever witnessed in all his years as an Eagles fan (and boy has he seen a few iffy QB displays). And yet the Cowboys still struggled to beat them.
I really do feel Megatron could have a field day against this dodgy Cowboys secondary.
Of course this is going to be a shoot out but I fancy the Lions D (just) to get the better of the argument over the Cowboys D.
BIG BET ON THE OAKLAND RAIDERS +2.5pts at 10-11.
I like Oakland here and I feel they will match up well against the Steelers. The market seems to have completely overreacted to the Steelers' two game winning streak. In truth the ravens should have beaten them last week.
Whereas the Raiders were very competitive in Kansas until a disasterous 4th quarter. Before that they defeated te Chargers easily on their home patch.
The Steelers lack of a decent running game continues to hamper them as Big Ben is always best of play action. And their defense is not what it used to be.
I believe this is a game where the market has reacted in the wrong way. Two weeks the prices would have reversed. Yet the Raiders aren't worse and the Steelers still have the same problems.

I found this week tough as well TBH but feckin hell Clay you're basing your Eagles pick on your mate reckoning that Nick Foles was concussed last week. Surely that's a no-bet if ever there was one.

I haven't picked the Eagles because the spread was too high, although i think they will win. I have factored in Foles' inept performance to why I think the Cowboys were flattered last week

i am really struggling this week.
the stats say take the Bills on the Hcap as they keep covering and the Pats on the hcap as well as the Dolphins arent great will watch for Talib injury news first though |
