Ok, there is no way the Buccaneers are a 0-6 team. They are better than that and they have been unlucky in a few games. But they don't have their troubles to seek. They cut QB Josh Freeman. They have now lost RB Doug Martin to injury and he is a massive loss for them. Plus there seems to be an open rebellion against head coach Greg Schiano. Fans have been displaying posters all over Tampa Bay that they want him fired. Some of the players have been apparently 'not trying' so they can get him fired and some of the players reckon Greg Schiano treats them like kids. Make no mistake Greg Schiano is a dead man walking if they lose badly tonight and a lot of people in Tampa actually want this to happen.
In Tampa's last three games they have played against teams that a very beatable and have troubles of their own - Philly, Arizona and Atlanta - and they lost all three. Now they step up in class and face a team who are on a roll and come into Tampa with all guns blazing.
Carolina have blown away the Vikings and the Rams in their last two games and QB Cam Newton is clicking into gear.
In Cam Newton's in his last 16 Starts, he is 9-7, has completed 60% of his passes, 3800 yds, 31 total touchdowns and only 11 interceptions.
In his last two starts, Newton has posted QB ratings of 146 and 136, while completing 81% of his passes for 446 yds, 4 touchdowns and no picks.
Tampa Bay's pass defense has simply fallen apart after a good start to the season. The Buccs are getting virtually no pass rush from the front four, they've stopped blitzing are playing a lot of zone and have been torched for 569 yds and six touchdowns in their last two games. Tampa Bay's pass defense has dipped to 18th in the NFL.
Oh and Carolina are very good on the ground as well. Carolina is ranked 7th in the NFL rushing the football, averaging 130.2 yds per game. DeAngelo Williams is back and doing damage, rushing for 434 yds on 106 carries. Mike Tolbert is the short yardage and goal line guy while Cam is always a threat with the read-option.
On defense the Panthers are 4th in the NFL against the run. Excellent. In the air the Panthers surrender just 217.7 yds a game (5th in the NFL) and are led by Greg Hardy and Charles Johnson, each having 4 sacks.
The Panthers have a winning record in Tampa (7-5).
The Buccs ight step up to the plate because they are national TV and they might won't to prove they are not a 0-6 team. But I suspect they will be more than happy to see the back of their head coach on Friday morning.

I am not saying that your bet won't win but I am not convinced about the Panthers until they beat someone with a winning record.  so far they have beaten teams with a combined 5 wins.

the Buccs are rubbish and this is a no bet game for me but tougher weeks lie ahead for the Panthers and we are going to quickly find out if this team are for real.

I Layed 6.5 earlier in the week, but it's not a bet I particularly like.

Vincent Jackson to find the endzone at better than Evens is a full £2 plunge.

Clay, I didn't mention it before, but I guess now is as good a time as any.  When you cut and paste someone else's review and words, you should put quotes around the words and credit the real writer.  Trying to pass off the words as your own is really low, and illegal.  Just saying.
BTW, I laughed so hard that I hurt my ribs when you said Doug Martin is a massive loss for Tampa.  BTW2, I have been putting up my own picks.  Not as bombastic as yours though.

Clay........how much is MASSIVE.....anticipating it is bigger than huge but less than enormous......say 35?Cool

No view on this yet myself...haven't really seen much of these teams. Panthers could very well be a good team, and the Bucs seem better than 0-6.
