I wouldn't count on it.  They might pay it because it may slip through; consider it a bonus.

If theft is what floats your boat good luck to you in life

Never understand why someone would want to post an  error on a public forum before settlement anyway other than he possibly has issues with the size of his manhood

Laugh Has the makings of an epic thread. I remember something similar a couple of years ago on the golf forum, was deleted fairly quickly.

Theft ?  OMG. 12 plus percent over round is theft, but that's OK.  Someone on here putting up 1.05, when the real price is 15, hoping some stooge will come along is theft, but that's OK here.  If the bookie makes an error, let that be karma for all the thieving they do.  Like slow payouts.  Banning winners.  Poor Will Hill for having a clerk make a mistake.

Mistakes like this happen every day...at least you didn't get greedy and try for more...good luck to you if you can get one over them....if they are willing to short cut and employ people who don't know what they are doing they deserve it...if you made a mistake and clicked the wrong button they wouldn't return the stake.

I doubt the account will be closed, had a handful of these type bets placed on the back of a mistake

I backed the Jags to miss the playoffs with Laddies at 33/1 pre-season - only had a tenner on it cos clearly a palp. Got an email cancelling the bet about 2 weeks later (they said it should have been 1/33) and then another one a day after that telling me I am no longer entitled to BOG or money-back specials or stuff like that.

Not really experienced this, however I once backed a snooker player in running for a frame at 11/8, he won, then b365 sent an email and said it was a palpable error and he should have been 4/7.  The odds on snooker are very fast moving in play and and I wasnt trying to take advantage of an obvious error.

Exactly how far out do the odds have to be to claim this error?   5/4 should have been evens?
