Yeah it's difficult to see who can beat them with their schedule. Maybe the Chiefs in 1 of their 2 games if a lot of things go right for the Chiefs. Apart from that the Broncos are going 16-0

Mentioned this last week, they have such an easy schedule you just don't see where the loss will come but how many times has this been said over the years with a team going for 16-0, as for the superbowl it is a long way off and this team could be like the packers team that had the bye week and lost all its momentum

52 pts today very impressive though, going to be tough to beat at mile high

superbowl being played in the cold this year and remember Manning freezes in the cold

got them for a decent amount at 8.0, but annoyingly i went for san francisco as my nfc team at i think 9.2. it was between them and seattle in my mind, i went for the niners thinking seattle would drop a road game more than the niners. oh well, still time i suppose. shame seattle won today.

Best thing to do with the Broncos' is to stay on their side from a betting POV every week. What kind of spread would scare anyone at this point? They have the best offense by a mile and a very good defense, so much better balanced than any of the other 'top' teams.

I reckon their Week 6 home game against the Jaguars could see the biggest ever NFL spread in history. The biggest ever currently was a 27-pt spread in 1976 when the Steelers played the Buccaneers in Pittsburgh. The Steelers won 42-0.

Pre-season line for the Jacksonville game was -14.
This is exactly the same as Jacksonville were for their trip to Seattle (Pre-season). The Seattle game went off -19.5 JAX 0-4 ATS SEA have gone 4-0 ATS, DEN 3-0-1 However, public perception is that Denver are better than SEA, especially at racking up the points. Denver will be in a look-ahead spot, as they have a trip to the Colts the following week. I therefore think we're looking at the line being around 21 points, and can't see it being higher than 24. |

It all looks so easy right now...... but be warned this is an injury driven business and banking on any team to get to the super-bowl is ridiculous right now... IMHO.
FFS the Ravens got there last year and were woeful for a long time. ![]() |

The Ravens were poxed up to the eyeballs last year.
But no, you can't count anyone as certs for anything yet, because of injuries. But so far Denver are by far the most balanced team in the NFL, strong all around, weapons galore and an elite QB, also they have a huge home field advantage. Still have Von Miller to come back. |
|
By:
Saints destroy one of the pretenders from the AFC, they have put down a marker, you don't want this team having home advantage through the playoffs, defence played well when it matterred, always going to give up yards but very good in the red zone.

Saints at 11/1 looking bloody good value after last night
at least for a trade. |
|
By:
Even better at 24s
Tricky game next week in Chicago but this payton offence looking smooth |
|
By:
yes 24 was a good price but i wanted to know if they were legit first.
I backed a division winner on Saints, Colts and Cowboys at 13/1 a few weeks back. reckon that goes close. |

I think as long as Indy get a split with the Texans, or maybe even of they don't - you'll collect all three.

d13 are you on some kind of wind up here??
Joined: 18 Jul 03 | Topic/replies: 22,598 | Blogger: d13phe's blog Cowboys? Based on what. They have lost a load of defensive starters and completely changed the dfensive system and Romo has never got the job done. Would rather take the Eagles tbh. You also said andrew luck will be a flop and you back both of the above ??? |
|
By:
I backed indy also, although I am not sure I would be that confident of collecting that one, even the nfc east is far from done, washington and philly only a game back. That will go to week 16. Miami are nothing special so not getting carried away with how the saints beat them, dolphins could still win the division but that is as far as they will get with that QB.
|
|
By:
not on a wind up
im just reacting to 4 games and an earlier call i think i got wrong. I wasn;t expecting Indys defence to be so good and the Cowboys cannot fail to not win the East this year, the rest are garbage |
|
By:
Good result for Saints last night and unfortunately didnt see the game.. However, I am still not getting carried away. I know you dont like Texans harry but I think its still a coin toss between them and colts for division.
|

By:
i agree swardean, they played well on sunday, plenty of yards and schaub screwed up. To be fair I don't have a downer on the texans, just the quarterback and as long as he is leading the team I don't see them getting to the superbowl. Believe it or not I backed them last season but just because I had the superbowl book all sewn up and at 30/1 It had to be done, not a bad price at the moment for a possible trade.
D13...with you saying you backed them a few weeks ago I was just questioning why you had such a change of heart but you just said you are reacting to 4 weeks, you must of reacted 2 weeks ago if you had the treble a few weeks ago. Saints you can tick off, the other two are going to be close calls whatever way you look at it,the east is always close and colts have the texans and titans to beat, can't rule the titans out, they could be sat at 4-0 |

Looking at the chargers at the price in the superbowl market but I think they are playing at their max right now.
|
|
By:
i don't disagree,
i picked the colts after they traded for richardson although I actually think Bradshaw is better, more important. When I commented on the Colts I didn't actually know they picked up bradshaw. he was such a key player in giants offense. I also saw that the rest of my div bets were going south so did a complete turnaround! I have been backing against the Cowboys most weeks but they have to win that division this year. |
|
By:
I think the Packers could make a very strong run if they stay healthy.
|
|
By:
are the cowboys not your team?
I have topped up on the packers. Backed saints before arizona game, lions were baked few weeks before the season. Looking for a few more sleeper teams now, any team at a big price stand out for you at the moment? bradshaw and richardson gives them great options, giants silly letting him go. Just noticed they are favs to beat the eagles this week . |
|
By:
cowboys are my team but it doesn't come into the reckoning when im betting
im not sure really packers can beat anyone if they keep RBs fit and Matthews, home or away im still thinking about it. I wouldn't be writing off the 49ers yet. |
|
By:
yes the niners are getting to that price range now where you have to consider them again. packers may come off the pace again this season which could suit them, you don't really want a bye week looking at previous seasons, seems to be a bad thing.
|
|
By:
crabtree supposed to be back early december but I doubt he will be the same player as he was last season when he was red hot and a big difference maker for them.
|

i wonder how much of their recent troubles was down to Aldon Smith
must have had an impact on the changing rooms |
|
By:
You never know, what a player he is though. too much quality in that team as long as they keep giving gore plenty of touches.
