I REALLY LIKE WHAT I'VE BEEN SEEING FROM THE COWGIRLS THIS YEAR THEY LOOK VERY CONSISTENT AND THEIR RUN GAME IS SUPERB NOT TO MENTION DEFENSIVELY THEY LOOK THE REAL DEAL. SAN DIEGO QB RIVERS IS PLAYING ARGUABLY HIS BEST STUFF IN A LONG WHILE AND EVEN THOUGH HE CAN LIGHT IT UP HE MAY STRUGGLE TO GET IT GOING AS HIS OFFENSIVE LINE IS BANGED UP TO MAX.

this is a very tricky game to call, think both might be better than initially ranked.
watching brief atm for me.......slightly down so far this week, small loss on Steelers, close to greening out but that fumble killed me. Seattle got me most of it back. in cautious mode though |

I agree with that wall....I think the chargers look very good this season,rivers doesn't even have the star receivers but he looks back to his best,woodhead looks a great pick up and the defence looks very good...backed dallas for the division so quite pleased how they are playing.

...though seems Chargers were lucky enough against the Eagles, some penalties went their way........but definitely Rivers looks better (was on fire in that game by all accounts).
Good match to see here, in terms of getting a closer look at both. Good bet with the Cowboys for the division....I didn't fancy any of them pre-season...but Cowboys definitely look the most solid right now. I was always amazed that Norv Turner remained as long as he did......I liked that Charger team of a few years back with Tomlinson, could have gone all the way. |

yes they were a good team with LT but had the norv turnover syndrome, didn't help when they had the great patriots team and manning and the colts in the way.
Yes had cowboys down all pre season for this division along with the colts in the south. Backed them without much consideration for the titans which could be costly as they look decent. |

the chargers were a bit lucky v the eagles but they had bad luck in the other games they lost. Funny season this is going to be,despite seattle being 4-0 I don't see any real dominant team even denver, could all come down to who matches up best v each other come the playoffs. Won't be touching any of these teams at short prices.

I think a few people on here saw this coming with the giants,the secondary was a shambles last season and it has continued,bradshaw let go,eli making lots of errors but that is just how the giants offence works,lots of picks but they do hit a lot of home runs,risk reward play but they have been rubbish.

Agree, while I think (like most) Denver and Seattle look the best in each conference......too many teams capable enough to close the gap.
One of things I love about the NFL is the way, the teams seem to study each other so closely and work on neutralising opposition threats. For example, Kaepernick, Wilson will have more confusing defensive plays set-up for them....indeed signs already that the league is counter-acting CK....SF offense now needs to evolve more. I think by the time the play-offs come - Denver offense will be easier to keep in check. It's the team(s) who will come from the pack, that I'm looking for......could be one of these two...or Colts, Lions |

Lions were the first team I backed in the superbowl book few weeks before the season. Niners struggle when gore has a quiet game,they did this last year as he complained in an interview about not getting enough touches,when he does get enough touches he will pick up the yards. Ravens last year lost games and then you looked at how many touches ray rice was getting and it was obvious why they were losing. Agree you will get a few teams who make a run,picked up the pack a few years ago when flynn came in for rodgers, giants did the same and so did the ravens.
