Ugh, bit of a stinker on paper, two teams who have been disappointing so far, in particular SF.

Hard to get a handle on I think.

Think the niners are a good bet tonight at decent odds

On paddy power they are offering 2/1 on Kaepernick to score a TD tonight either by running or throwing one

Thats a great bet

Murray tore this Rams defense to shreds last week on the ground - the 49ers have to go back to basics and ground and pound - with Frank Gore playing they should just run the ball as often as possible. And they will win and win easy.
Also Anquan Bouldin will absolutely bully Cortland Finnegan....that might seem strange to many but I think Finnegan has either lost his bottle or is not interested. I read that Des Bryant was saying there was no trash talking, no abuse, no aggression, nothing from Finnegan on Sunday. So unlike him. Bouldin will eat him alive.
49ers all day long as long as they run the ball

I know lot of people dont care much for h2h records, but when the 49ers where playing well last year they got bullied home and away by the rams.

Rams on the hcap for me.

I didn't think that could be right.

Rams tied SF in one game and beat them by a field goal in overtime in the other. Wouldn't call that bullying really.

It was a horrible matchup for the niners, considered they beat some very good teams last year and couldn't get a grip on the rams was a bit strange but they were kind of bullied.

I saw both games, and despite having the better players I thought rams where physically stronger and overpowered what looks a solid side.

49ers have looked bullied last two weeks and coming off those two games it may not be the easiest matchup to get back on track.   Evening game against another tough divisional rival with a good defence, the crowd will be smelling blood.

All credit to SF if they can get a win tonight.

So the Rams even after overpowering them were only able to win one of the games in OT?

I think the point swardean is trying to make is the niners were a superbowl team who were supposed to roll over the rams but they couldn't on 2 occasions.they were outplayed in both games.

I can see Hairball letting CK loose tonight, nothing left to lose @ 0-3, 0-4 and we know the stats for making the playoffs with 0-2 starts is 12%, I think 0-3 was 6%, so god knows what 0-4 is.

They've tried the 'protect the QB' type of offense in 3 games, right now Cap's legs are their only real dangerous weapon with Davis out - whether he plays or not is going to be interesting. Smith out, Willis out, other Smith anonymous so far, secondary poor.

3. The Rams had the league's sixth-ranked defense against the run heading into last week's matchup with the Dallas Cowboys, but Chris Long and Co. couldn't stop DeMarco Murray from scorching them for 175 yards. St. Louis must do a much better job containing Frank Gore, who likely will see the ball early and often after he unwisely was fazed out of San Francisco's Week 3 gameplan.

>>>Interesting.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 4m

Asked #49ers tight end Vernon Davis is playing tonight: "Oh yeah." He's not 100 percent, but he's going to go.

No chance of the 49ers going 0-4 since they already are 1-2.

Rams rush defense only stood up vs ATL and Cards, so that means nothing much really.

Much as i love a punt on the NFL this game looks impossible really complete guessing game imo.Might try to find an angle in running.

Rams were dreadful on sunday but you're going to get that occasionally with young teams. I think they bounce back here and shouldn't be odds against

Excellent 2nd qtr from SF, but Rams should never have conceeded a TB on 3rd and Goal on 19 and worse 4th and inches on 33.

Dropped Gore from my fantasy football teamSad.....in favour of McFadden.

Had a hefty-ish bet on 49ers at an average of 1.63.

Happy now go on the Rams, it is the NFL after allHappy......1.14 is very low.
