With the Wembley game on this weekend, are we faced with the usual proposition of no red zone because of it? I hate the wembley for that reason. Really hacks me off

I hate the Wembley game as well, that's just one of the reasons - all the hoopla is just a nuisance, cringe-worthy sometimes. The game atmosphere while unique is quite artificial compared to a "real" game.

Hope there is never a team in the UK (or anywhere in Europe).

(NFL fans in UK/Europe are quite fervent in the support of their team. I wonder have NFLUK realised that most will not support the "London Jaguars" (or whatever), remaining to support their own team.

Thankfully - number one priority for NFL must be team in LA.

I could not agree more.

The London team will be a fad, no-one who has a team now will change team. And as soon as the novelty wears off the crowds will dwindle. The only thing that will keep the crowds up is winning, that's not going to happen all the time.

I also can't see many FA's wanting to move away from their families etc and I can see draft picks doing an Eli too. A lot of these kids have enough trouble dealing with their own country, nevermind bing 6,000 miles away.

The whole thing is a logistical nightmare and cheapens the NFL.

I am sick and tired of hearing about the bullshit. On and on and on and on and on and on....

I wouldn`t go to the London game if you paid me. A load of bollocks. Like running the Kentucky Derby at Lingfield Park Devil

but they have had the Rams and the Raiders in LA before and it hasn't worked

That was a while ago, and both teams were poor and owned by Georgia Frontiere who had no clue, and Al Davis who had lost the plot.

Personally I make PIT a 3 point fav.

Their D has been decent, and the Vikings (or rather Ponder!) just can't move the ball. While PIT's O-line has failed to protect Big Ben very well, I don't see the Vikings D as as big of a threat than CHI, CIN or TEN (3 of the better defences in the league).

In these scrappy, low-scoring affairs, D will win out (just look at the Jets so far this season). PIT may well be performing at a lower level than was expected before the season, but you don't go from being expected to win 9-10 games to being the worst team in the league overnight.

As down as I am on my own team and have been for a while, they deserve to be a 3PT fav here, what have Minnesota done?

Losing at home to Cleveland with a virtual rookie QB to me is worse than any loss the Steelers have had.

Chicago are 3-0 now, Tennessee have played well 3 times. Cincy are better than most teams, and just beat GB.

i think the vikings match up perfectly to the Steelers

they have pass rush and will get to Big Ben all day

The Vikings are scoring points and playing pretty well they are just making silly errors

the steelers look beaten to me already.

Having been to 3 wembley games and also games in the US, the atmostphere is no comparison.  At Wembley many many neutrals, in US very partisan crowds.

That said, I enjoyed the games and made a really good weekend trip out of it.

London Franchise... I am not so sure... would I go to the games... yes probably a couple a year cherry picked by opposition.

Not sure about that pass rush, they only have 4 sacks. They're giving up a lot of pass yards too (5th worst), QBR against they're about middle of the pack.

They're actually statistically one of the worst defenses in the league, 30th in pts against, 29th in total yds, 28th in pass yds, 21st in run yards.

Pittsburgh rank 5th overall, and most of the points they're conceding (25PPG) are off turnovers from the offense. So that's misleading.

Obviously you can't win games losing the turnover battle every week, that's why the Steelers are 0-3, -9 in turnovers.

Hard to back the Steelers right now, but the Vikings aren't much better.

Hope you enjoy it d13, still may go to the Jax game (as they are my 2nd team... gulp!).

Its even better, if you land a winning bet on the game!!  Although too tough a game to call for me, I'll be looking elsewhere.

Well I don't think that could have gone any better.  Checked into hotel on Friday morning at the same time as the Pittsburgh Steelers checked in!  My son met loads of players who made a big fuss of him.  However on Saturday night, Adrian Peterson was just leaving the hotel (must have been there for a press conferance), he picked my son up and posed for a picture.

Seats were in a great area about 20 rows back.  Perfect for watching his new hero (AP) score a break away TD, he was on his seat cheering his head off despite wearing a number 7 Roethlisberger shirt.

I felt a bit guilty betting against the Steelers but the +3 made it a max bet on the Vikes for me.  The atmosphere was amazing and Wembley is a stadium we can all be very proud of.
