CWS @ CHC - whats going on?

I just been looking at this game and it says its the game from May 28th ( Wednesday ) that got postponed. I think this has caught many people out. I presume it will be voided.

Give Betfair a call about this market and talk to the help desk. I have just done so as I have a lot of money tied up in this market. They have told me the market has been missed and they will raise a ticket for it. The more tickets the better.

Baseball

These Betfair Baseball Rules apply to Major League Baseball (MLB), World Baseball Classic and Japanese Baseball only. All other baseball, including Finnish Baseball for example, will be governed by the rules set out in the General Rules and the Market Information.

If a match does not start on the scheduled starting date, all bets will be void.

If an MLB match starts but is later abandoned or postponed and an official result is not declared within three days of the scheduled start date, all bets will be void, except for those on markets which have been unconditionally determined.


I've no sympathy whatsoever for many of those with large amounts of money tied up in this market.

I've £50.70 tied up in the market (-£50.70 CHC; £4926 CWS). The overwhelming majority of that money was placed and matched at 1.01 more than 10 seconds after the completion of the CWS @ CHC match that took place the following day (US).

In my opinion, it's highly unlikely that the match will be rescheduled and completed within the 3 day time frame specified above. If it is and CWS win, I would fully expect to be paid out in accordance with the rules detailed above.

Those with funds tied up in the market will most probably receive them when it's confirmed that the match will not be completed within 3 days of the scheduled start date. In the meantime tough luck.

I've absolutely no problem with snipers and hooverers in general. I do have a problem with those of them that bleat when they get it wrong.
