the referees leniancy affected the result of the game. They had decided pre-game that they were going to let the game flow, as little penalties as possible. The Ravens cottoned onto it quicker than the 49ers, and broke a lot of rules.

Reminded me of 2005 I think, when the Steelers beat the Seahawks. It was all set up for Jerome Bettis to win a ring in his last game in his hometown. The NFL love a good fairy story
