The dirty birds are going daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan tonight.
Whilst it pleases me no end that the Dirty Hawks are sitting at home watching this game, I have to admit the they were very unlucky last weekend. Shocking decisions in the 1st half cost them victory. Not kicking a field goal on 4th and 3 and not kicking a field goal and allowing the clock to run out at the end of the half. This cost them the win. No doubt
Wilson moved the ball with ease against the Falcons and Kaepernick will do the same. The Hawks looked like scoring every time they went up the field.
The Falcons have weapons on Offence, no one is denying that. Green Bay put up 31 points against the Niners D last week so Atlanta will be confident of following suit. But I don't like Ryan under pressure. For 2 quarters last week he was under no pressure and he excelled. In the second half he buckled and could barely move the ball. I expect the Niners D to be in his face from the word go. If the Falcons fall behind early i can't see them winning.
This could be a shoot out and Kaepernick has proved he is up to the task. Massive congrats for Harbaugh for having the guts to oust the useless Smith mid season.
Back the Niners -3.5pts.

Prices wrong way around imo. I like the Falcons for the following reasons

- ended the run of playoff defeats last week - should instill a bit more belief, especially for Ryan
- Ryan's record at home
- Kaepernick blows very hot and cold for me; hot last week but more likely to lose you a game than Smith
- Falcons will have the same gameplan for Kaepernick they had for Wilson in the first half last week - no blitzing, "you can have all day to pass but you won't beat us scrambling". In other words the opposite to what Green Bay did
- 49ers record this season WWLWWLWWTWWLWWLWW Happy...

>>>That couldn't have been the game plan as Wilson had acres to run into many times and didn't. The read option was there all day, Wilson failed to exploit it and they did not call plays to exploit the holes all over the defense when Wilson had the ball in his hands.

You were seeing something that Wilson, Seahawks coaching staff with game film, and myself didn't see then. Atlanta front four were disciplined staying in their pass rush lanes (unlike the Packers)

The holes were there.

Kapo is a better passer than than Ryan and a better runner ... Even Tim Tebow could throw for 300 yards a game with Atlanta's recievers but without a running game SF will drop 7 back and rely on the Smith Bros to harass Ryan.  Atlanta didn't win last week ... Seatle lost through some of the most assinine coaching decisions I have ever witnessd in 45 years watching this game. The clock management at the end of the 1st half was more like a Pop Warner team than an NFL team ... SF wins this by at least 7 and 1.56 is a gift.

I hope you are right

Kaepernick a better passer? Oh my. The hype for a strong armed but inconsistent QB with average awareness is so far over the top it is unreal.

I think you are as bad at judging qbs as you are on superbowl tips (chargers and jets) Wink

Seattle lost their pass rush threat in Clemons the week before playing Atlanta, Ryan had the time to do as he liked, yet he still threw up two ints. I believe that SF will deliver more pressure and of course they have a stouter run D than the Seahawks, Turner may not have the impact he had last week.

San Francisco -4 for me.
