Ray Lewis 50/1 (was 66/1) last night, if Baltimore win the whole thing surely it must be a better than 50/50 chance that Ray Ray takes home the award? making him approx. a 20/1 shot in my book Kapaernick 4/1, again if you fancy the 49`ers you`d have to be having a nibble on this i reckon, seems good value for the quaterback of a 21/10 shot who does all the passing and a large portion of their running Quick mention of Power`s Brady at 1.73, must be worst price ever, winning MVP award almost certainly assumes your team has won the trophy and New England are 2.1, crazy!!

Who else would get it? Flacco gets plenty of criticism but never any love, the running backs are splitting carries making it hard for either to have an outstanding game, no stand out receivers TE or WR, linemen rarely ever get the award, that leaves the defense, only dangers are Reed or a CB getting a couple of picks and returning at least 1 for a TD or Kruger/Ngata strip/sacking Brady 2/3 times
Just need the Ravens to win it now!

The way flacco has played lately he cant be ruled out...I wouldnt say they are sharing the carries...ray rice had 30 carries and pierce 5 but 66/1 was worth a punt...Not sure they will get there...Atlanta will be easy meat for either the ravens or patriots...

Even if they win I dont see him getting it...he would have to have a team high in tackles and a pick....used to get decent prices on the QBs for mvp...Took brees the year they won it rather than backing the saints.

Nice to be on at the price but just can't see him winning it given he doesn't dominate any more. The better bet would just have been a Ravens back, but then I would say that now that we know

Vis, I think the angle for the bet is more that Lewis will get it as a sort of lifetime award type thing, which would be unusual but not all that surprising. Just the way it works with awards where human voting is involved. It might only take an average game by Lewis for people to vote for him.

But given he is 12/1 still with Balt now in the final, there wasn't that much of an angle.....that's the point I am trying to make. He probably will be backed in and go off at single figs on the day, in which case the bet does look a good value play.
