I couldn't see Houston as favourite over Baltimore on current form unless they blow out the Patriots here. I know the regular season game with Baltimore was a blow out but they were missing a lot of key personnel and have been playing much better since Ray Lewis has come back.  T

As good have the 49ers have looked, and they have looked good, they still have to travel from west to east against a falcons side that are near perfect at home. Playing the prices you have to side with the falcons here.

I think the 49ers win this one and cover.  Was anyone really impressed with them last week?  Their defence is terrible and Seattle moved the ball with ease, even in the first half when they had no points.  What has a greater bearing IMO is how easy it was for the Seahawks when they finally started the read plays in the 2nd half and allowed Wilson to run.  Atlanta will face the same problem and then some with Kaep and I cannot see how they can come up with something to stop them within a week.

Falcons didnt prove to me they really believe in themselves and Ryan still has the frailties, the 49ers defence is right up there with the best I just feel the 49ers power their way through this one.

49ers defence hasn't been the same since smith went out injured as they cant generate the pressure on the QB, he is obviously not fully fit now. They only managed to sack Rodgers once last week, and Green Bays offensive line hasn't exactly protected him very well. The falcons will air this one out and if the 49ers cant generate pressure on Ryan he and the receiving corp will make plays on this 49ers D.

To me the falcons have to concede that CK is going to make plays, but its the big play with his legs they have to stop. If he runs for 10 yards then so be it, but if he starts pulling of 30,40,50 yard runs it makes the 49ers an offensive machine. I cant see him get joy on the ground like he did against the packers though. To be fair the packers looked as though they had never seen him before with the way the tried to stop him.

Niners are too short for me, but I think they'll win, might have to give up 3.5. Anyone who watched the fist half will know that Seattle missed the boat completely with Wilson not running, the option was there over and over again. Also Gore is 100%, beast mode clearly was not.

I think the falcons have breathed a huge sigh of relief to get that playoff win but they are nowhere near Superbowl worthy.

Lets be honest, the seahawks were the better team by a mile.

If they hadnt fumbled in the redzone, kicked the 3 points on 4th down and got the FG away before HT they would have beaten the Falcons with ease.

the seahawks moved the ball with ease and Tony G will struggle against the Niners D who are much better in defending against these big tight Ends

its a great matchup for the niners imo who dont seem to have any weakness.

I only see them losing if they beat themselves as the Falcons are consistent.  that is essentially what he seahawks did.

Win or lose tomorrow, the hate for Atlanta on here is nothing short of ridiculous. They are a solid side who usually find a way to win. Just because they aren't flashy should not undermine their ability.

However, the SF Defence without Justin Smith at 100% is a different beast. At the moment, they are playing with 9.5 men as Aldon Smith looks woeful without Justin ahead of him.

This I dont trust kaep bullshit has gone on too long...nobody trusts any qb outside of tom brady and arron rodgers...matt ryan has hardly set the playoffs on fire through his short career.  I agree atlanta seem to pull out wins at home but they shouldnt be favs against a far superior team.  Niners have had to face seattle and the packers twice this season,away in foxboro, one defeat.  Atlanta schedule was a joke.  It was a poor start from seattle..atlanta came out of the blocks quick so credit to them but as dirk said some of the big decisions seattle made were shocking...they decided to go for it on 4th down so they obviously had it in mind to run it twice beforehand and left lynch out of the plays   Atlanta were down and out...seattle were moving the ball with ease and atlanta had no answer...credit to atlanta getting a chance at the fg but they did scrape home....if the niners start fast atlanta have no chance,,the niners O line will wear them down.
