I backed Denver at big prices in the summer because I felt if they got to the 2nd round of the play offs with a dreadful QB at the helm then they could go very close with a brilliant one at the helm.
But I agree with your assessment above. They are now a shocking price |

You did well Clay as i would say they are a better team than you probably thought they would be. They certainly have suprised me.They already had a good defence especially with Miller and Dumervil but it is the impact Manning has had on the offence which has made this team so much better. I mean Decker and Thomas look top notch with Manning throwing to them and you can see the confidence they have. Both made brilliant 1 hand catches last week!
However i still think they will struggle to beat New England and Houston, if they can get out of their mini slump. My own personal pre season bets were Cincinatti at 100's with the idea to lay off if they got to the playoffs as i thought they had a chance to get through division. I backed NYG at 40's after they lost to Dallas on opening game and Chicago at 25s. With about 6 games to go i was well chuffed but what a catastrophic collapse by both teams. NYG are a real jekyll and hyde team and as for the Bears, well if they hadnt got Marshall they would have never been close. Only saving grace is 49ers who i backed at 9/1. Like Kaepernick though was disappointed to see them thumped by Seattle (think the game against Redskins could be a classic). Am looking for a saver now and keep coming back to New England. Will See though. All the best. |

does the winner of Baltimore/Colts go to Denver? Houston/Bengals to New england?

if the bengals beat houston they will play at denver (denver as top seeds play the highest seed survivor of the wild card round) new england will host the winner of the other.
if houston beat the bengals and baltimore beat the colts, it will be denver v baltimore and new england v houston, as said denver as the top seed will host the highest seed remaing. |

Obviously you mean "lowest" seed survivor
