Since so many defensive plays/interceptions comes from the defense reading the QB's eyes..... why don't they wear helmets with shaded visors (aka LT style)?

Surely that will affect there all round vision?

Brady most of the time has more than one Receiver lined up , he will instantly throw to whoever has got himself in the best position , difficult if your darkened out.

Works the other way as well though....doesn't give good QBs the chance to look a safety off.

I don't reckon it'd affect vision, it's just a means to stop people being able to see where you're looking.

Fair point about look off's, however, in a game where turnovers are so crucial, it'd certainly be a tradeoff I'd be willing to make.

A qb doesn't just look with his eyes though, his whole body mechanics give away where he is looking.
