Someone has to state the obvious, so allow me. Pittsburgh will win, duh. But, what's the bet ? If you've seen my infrequent posts, you know my bet. Take the 1.17, and say thank you very much. No matter how much money you have, scooping down and picking up 16.2 or so in pounds, dollars, euros is always welcome. @ 1000, that would even but a nice dinner for Bill Gates. If that's too much, put on 100 and get 16.20 The reward is all relative to the size of your bankroll.
Points to ponder: why bet the spread when the Steelers just want to win. A 1 point win is good enough for me. Betting the spread is just gambling. KC does have a running game, but they don't seem to like to use it. Doesn't matter because Pitt will be all over it. KC has had an extra 3 days rest. Again, doesn't matter. They got B slapped by SD, good luck in Steeler town. Only caveat, the Canadian Steeler ( get your hands dirty, look it up) might not be his best tonight, and that's worrisome because he is money in the bank, and his understudy isn't nearly as good as he is. Anyway, here's hoping Pittsburgh fumble the opening kick and KC scores early, so I can pile on and take some extra @ 1.26 or so, but good luck there. Speaking of piling on, the NA forum resident geniuses are waiting for my pick to lose and go na na na na . I don't care. Pittsburgh Money line is the bet, if it loses, oh well, onward to Thursday's game. I always bet within line of my bank, if anything, it keeps the sweat to a minimum.

Except I don't think £162 will buy a decent meal for Gates when it would cost him more than £50 to spend his time picking one off the floor! I think Steelers should win by more than 12.5 but why gamble?...er because I'm greedy! I'll take the £16.20 for now and see how the game develops, hoping like you for a KC score early doors. I have to say I jumped on it after NE conceded early at Wembley, the greed set in and I couldn't help myself but it was a good day! |

After the Patriots scraped past the Bills and the 49ers embarrassed themselves yesterday we are due one of the double figure spreads going in. I would be disappointed if the Steelers didn't slam the Chiefs here given recent form, in sport you never know what will happen but everything points to a heavy defeat for the Chiefs and I fully expect Big Ben to enjoy himself.

Anybody know what the weather is like?
The weather was obviously a massive factor last night but people didnt seem aware how bad it was till the game kicked off as i dont think the unders moved much pre kick-off. Rarely back double digits but if weather fair thibk the steelers will cover. |
