I'm guessing you didn't see the game last Monday Judorick. They hung on to beat a bad NYJ who had some key people get hurt and leave the game. Yes, GB collapsed, it won't happen this week. 5-0 looks awfully nice, but who exactly have they beaten ? Their 5-0 record, and the GB collapse has inflated the line by at least 4 points. So it should be a pickem', but think about it, a perfect team with all the attributes you mention going against a team that got Btch slapped last week, and the spread is only about 4 ? Why ? The man knows way more then you do.
GB has had an extra day of rest and practice, Rodgers knows what to do against a strong defensive front. I'm here to smooth out your over excitement for other people who may not know better. Houston may win, but "going to be carnage" is a little over the top. GB at +4 looks juicy. |

I'm saying there is nothing absolute with the game, but I think the most important person in the mix is the line maker. I believe he thinks the line should be pickem'. That means Texas should be about 1.98 - 2.04 Hey, the LM is wrong a lot too. But he already knows about the stunning Texas D, they're at home etc, so someone saying they're making a big bet because of the great D, is saying their number crunching is better then the man's. That's good for some people, just not for me, because I know my figurings pale in comparison to his. Just because the line is wrong, Houston may win big. Green Bay may win big. My bets are based on the line. In this case, you're getting big odds for GB to win outright, but I'm a chicken and will take the 4 points. I've seen too many bad bounces. Just one guys opinion.
