ESPN tv series about the NY Yankees World Series in 1977 and the triple spat between Billy Martin (Manager), George Steinberger (Owner) and Reggie Jackson (Mr October) interlinked with Son Of Sam serial killings that occured that same year. Never ever heard of it until buying the complete series on dvd from USA over a week ago. Compulsive viewing and enjoying it very much.

The first 4 or 5 listed under used don`t ship to UK. Zoverstocks are the same company selling on amazon.co.uk for £17 plus postage, so if you buy from the American amazon site you will save approx £8.20p Can`t see it cheaper anywhere else. If you like Baseball or even sports films you will love this series, particularly if you know the background to the trio, i.e. Reggie Jackson, Billy Martin and Steinberger. 5 disc box set and well worth a tenner. |
