I'll give this a new title Gary if that is OK as I save some of these off for the record.

I am on the Giants at 28 from before the last day win against Dallas but opposed them last week. To be honest I'll oppose them again tonight to more or less neutralise my lovely 28 pick back in December. don't ask me why, some of the reason is that they have become too public now.
All that said it is truly amazing how many people whose opinion I would respect are not only tipping New York but punting them as well.

Personally I thought New England in a dome with Brady playing at his best would be hard to beat on the night. I'd certainly rather be on him that Eli late on if it comes down to sudden death

Its a good match up although the wagon jumping on the day by people that know nothing about American Football is hard to take on the likes of Twitter etc..

Report big_dunc February 6, 2012 2:58 AM GMT
Bradshaw the most relieved man in the USA. Not sure why the comms were asking what he was up to? He knew exactly what he was doing. Delayed the TD for as long as he could, but he wanted to be the man who won the Super Bowl.
Report grayhawk February 6, 2012 3:00 AM GMT
Would have been good to see Bradshaw try to take a knee at the one and a New England player shove him in for the TD Grin

Report grrrrrowl February 6, 2012 3:01 AM GMT
let's all be honest, if they really wanted to eat the clock they woulda taken at least 1 knee and kicked the FG to leave Brady with about 20 secs and no TO's

Anything could have happened with a FG attempt in that scenario , would have been madness not to take the TD when he did.

fair enough d13 if a bradshaw TD was going to leave time on the clock with pats only needing a FG to tie or win...but they knew pats had to score the TD...a hard task in a superbowl...bradshaw made the right decision

Thing is......Green Bay Packers clearly the best team in the NFL last year, was just a mystery why they put themselves in such a difficult position to begin with.  Giants did well, but imo not really any better or worse than the 7 or 8 better teams who are all about the same. Did well all the same, but over-achievers

So happy for Eli

For those of you who don't know the story, he was asked on ESPN Radio in NY if he thought was 'elite' to which he said that he felt he was.  The guy got so much stick for comparing himself to Brady it was crazy.  For him to get through that ropey November and then beat Brady is simply brilliant.  Couldn't have been scripted any better.

I still think Welker should have had it, the pass wasn't brilliant but he put it up there. It happens though. Just a bit frustrating it was the last leg of a £50 five fold that I've had on for 2 weeks. Would have brought in a nice sum.
Report HARRY22 February 7, 2012 8:46 PM GMT
as many of you said,,,welker makes it 9/10 so you cant blame it on a ball being overthrown...he may have not have ran his route as precise as he should..who knows,,,he got both hands up to the ball and dropped it..pressure
