i really like the Ravens in the AFC though

2 sad posts 2 start this thread off with, we all know the steelers will beat the ravens if they meet again, the ravens cant be lucky 3 times in a row

Did the first Ravens-Steelers game not finish a lot to not very much?

Steelers should stomp all over Denver but if they meet the Ravens should batter them again.

I reckon it'll be a Pats-Saints SB though. Brady v Flacco? No contest.

Well last year I had my boots on the Ravens (superbowl outright) only to watch them self destruct in Pittsburgh, this year I have my boots on Pittsburgh and whilst I don't envisage Tebow giving them too many problems they will then have to go through Baltimore - I would fancy either Steelers or Ravens in Foxboro and intend laying Pats for loads....

I'm all over the Giants and will also play the overs.
This is also a classic spread play on TD shirts - Gonzo and Roddy White, and Nicks, Cruz and Ballard, plus having a RV wearing 44 is a bonus !
Been making steady money on buying shirts in Giants games this year, I expect they'll make me pay 300 but I can see a 500 make up here.

Falcons-Giants will be a good one, it'll be interesting to see how Ryan performs away from home outdoors in a pressure situation. Don't think the NFC winner will come from this game somehow!

dont think the Steelers will go far after the weekend,injuries are a slight concern and they rarely do well the year after getting to a SB,have a feeling for the Ravens too,have been sweet on them for the AFC for a while now but think homefield will swing it for the Pats.Hard to look beyond Packers for the NFC but wouldnt mind seeing Saints playing them for it,Brees has a lot of weapons now and they are playing well but again the cold in Lambeau would prob not suit them.Super Bowl Packers v Patriots toss a coin for the winner although if it was somehow Ravens v Saints I would fancy Ravens to go one better than their AFC North rivals this time round.

I think the AFC is very open

I dont think there is any oustanding team and for me there is question marks over all of them:

Pats - terrible D but Brady and his tight ends can win any match
Ravens - poor offense imo and very inconsistent (losses to Seahawks/Jags and Chargers.  D are game winners.
Steelers - Probably the best team in the AFC but struggling with injuries
Houston - no QB but decent Running backs and defence has stepped up under Wade Phillips
Denver - Tebowmania ground to a halt.  D still good though
Bengals - decent D and exciting O but maybe a step too far?


For me you can't rely on Flacco and the offense to get it done given previous playoff games.  I also think Lewis has lost a yard since his injury.  I also will never forgive Ray Rice for dropping that ball against the Steelers.  Cost me a fortune that did

I know it doesnt really answer any questions but I wouldnt be surprised to see a few upsets in the AFC and will be backing high prices in the AFC for most of the playoffs.

The playoffs games in the NFC are going to be classics imo

Saints @ 49ers and Giants @ Packers next week???

Can see the 49ers winning that one for some reason

Cannot see anyone beating the Packers at Lambeau though whatever happens

Funny, I can see the AFC going as seeded but I can see a couple of shocks in the NFC, Detroit to beat the Saints being the first one

only shock in the nfc is that new orleans lose to san fran other than that its green bay all the way ... afc i still think ravens can cause an upset here.

I'm liking the Lions getting 10.5 as well, but as this will be a shootout I think the safer bet is over 17 points in the 2nd quarter @ 10/11

Really fancy the falcons to beat the giants. Giants are so inconsistent, have had a losing 2nd half to the season and 2 or 3 weeks ago, they were humiliated by the redskins of all teams!

Atlanta half time / full time at 3 to 1 is not to be missed!!
