Don't ask me why but I went to bed Sunday convinced Indy are going to turn over Houston here.
1. Finally got rid of PAinter and while it took then ages to get going they finally did late last Sunday and took a big scalp in Tennessee. I could see them buoyed after that
2. Houston have already qualified and while last Sunday was a big let down spot for them I have felt they have been fading for a while and they were fortunate winners 2 weeks ago
3. TJ Yates is overrated on the back of a massive offensive line. The Colts defensive line is not huge but there is no pass threat and the colts have stopped bigger lines than this before
4. Divisional game. Colts did not become a bad team over night. They just had no QB.
Home game for the Colts and last time to put a bit of dignity on the season in front of their own fans after a shocker of a season.
The more I look at it the more I like the Colts here

cant have texans -6.5, lost to the panthers last week for christ sakes, hardly see yates throwing deep. colts outright and cap for me. should be able to bugout at some point.

Can't see Indy moving the ball with any consistency. Can't have much faith in Houston's O either given that Indy still have two potent pass rushers and will be packing the box. Indy would look a spot of value if their special teams play was average, but it has been woeful at times.
I think I will guess at HT-FT double....Indy-Houston.

colts are awful without peyton. This season just shows how good he really is - carries the team. Different class.
Houston -6.5 and unders the way to go here imo.

Houston beat themselves but I have been watching them closely for that last month and they are very tired late on. They are opposable next week as they try to get healthy for the post season. Yates is vastly overrated behind an outstanding offensive line that has just gotten exhausted after a long successful season. The best team won tonight. The Colts will not win next week as they try to get the no. 1 draft pick but tonight was the night

This rubbish about throwing games to get the No.1 pick is getting ridiculous at this stage
If the Colts were going to go for the No.1 draft pick then why would they win last night? They had already avoided the embarrassment of a 0-16 season last week. Colts will win next week easy. Jags are a dreadful side.

Having just watched the flushing of my money, two things strike me; I don't think I've ever lost a bet where a running back has gone for over 150 yards, averaging 7ypc, and Kubiak was much too conservative with Yates.
It allowed the Colts to stay in it - then all you need are some questionable penalties and the game's gone ... and so has my money!

I had 1-6 on the margin at 5.5 but layed houston @1.19 just before indy's game winning drive. Would have made more on the margin though, still the penalty to give indy a 1st down was debatable. Not the 2nd pass interference one though that was stonewall!

I hate people who always shout 'fix', but youd be hard pressed to convince me that this game was officiated fairly.
Some reaaaaaaly dodgy calls. Wouldnt be suprised if something came out on that officiating crew in a few years time.
