I actually fancy the Chargers tonight. Rivers seems to be in a bit of form, although he's only been against the Jags and the Bills the last couple weeks. Ravens haven't been that impressive of late and have quite a few key guys banged up.

Baltimore should win this fairly easily. Unfortunately when you look at their 3 losses they were road losses against 3 teams they should have beat. They just aren't good enough against bad teams on the road for me to back them.

I had to green out - Janikowski is a monster and was convinced he'd nail that kick.
NE are AFC East, Ravens are in the AFC North, fighting with Pittsburgh for top spot. NE winning their division doesn't have any real effect on the Ravens, although a week off is motivation for anyone I suppose  |

Ravens need to match Patriots to stay as No.1 seed in AFC
They currently hold the tie-breaker over the Pats by virtue of common games (4-0 vs 3-1) If Ravens win their last 3 then they will be the No.1 seed I think they slip up tonight though because Chargers are in real last-chance-saloon now and games went in their favour earlier. If the Raiders had won against the Lions there, then I would be all over the Ravens because that would have effectively put the Chargers out. |
