NYG + 6.5 at 2.24
By:
I'd go with Giants +6.5, the +12.5 isn't bad odds considering such a large handicap, nearly 2 touch downs!
By:
NYG @ 6.5 MIGHT JUST BE A GENIUS PICK GUYS.
By:
might join you guys on it

I've put a tenner on NYG @ 6.5, night lads, hopefully wake up to £24.

*£22

10/11 plus 7.5 better bet than plus 6.5 11/10
By:
plus 7.5 the much the better bet if you betting NYG. cant see anything past a easy saints win, giants have been woeful last couple of weeks playing against the no1 ranked passing team at home ( unbeaten 4-0 ) in a dome.

The Giants should rely on their pass rush to stifle Brees, but New Orleans have stiffened up their protection and Osi Umenyiora and Justin Tuck are nicked up. Brees can get it out quickly to a pretty talented receiving corps. Add in Darren Sproles who has the sort of speed outside that NYG struggle with and they've got some nice options.
I don't like Manning playing in his hometown, and it's MNF (pick the dog fer chrissakes!) but they're carrying some injuries on offense too and I'm not so keen on Jacobs. It could be a bit of a shootout (Manning may have to throw to keep up) but I'll take the Saints -7. |
By:
sticking with the over 50.5 as my only bet cos i too think it will be a shoot out NO score like a mother$%^£r at home NYG will have to score big to win ( which they HAVE TO )
By:
If this is the game thread I wish it had a snappier title.
At almost 4, despite my bias towards the Saints, I'm on the Giants tonight with a view to trade out. Think it'll be a bit closer than the market expects. Should be a good un. |

i hate no with a passion so cannot bet on this with the necessary detachment and will just watch. everyone goes on about det now, but forget no are a pretty dirty team too. SEETHE about how they targetted warner and favre in the playoffs 09, late hit after late hit and the zebras just stood there and let them. still think THEY wanted no to win the sb as part of the post-katrina agenda

So, what are NY gonna do to make an impact here?
By:
What a horrible game in store next week - ESPN must be gutted
By:
The Giants have no problem moving the chains; as long as they keep mixing it up with the run (even though it's going nowhere) they can keep throwing at this secondary, but they have to finish in the redzone - even if it's just 3.
