I've only started watching American football this season, and as each week passes, my enthusiasm for the game increases. This growing interest has manifested itself in a couple of dreams I've had where I'm playing quarterback. I can distinctly remember several plays, all of which involve me receiving the ball and rushing, with one culminating in an epic touchdown (or was it just 4th down?) whereby I extended my arm a la Stretch Armstrong to the delight of my team-mates and crowd. I was gutted upon waking, though, as I couldn't remember actually throwing the ball, which, would definitely be one of the first things I'd attempt if I ever had an opportunity to play the game.
