Hi guys,
I'm fairly new to the NFL but absolutely love watching it.
I'd like to learn more about the rules, tactics etc as well as some background on the teams and the key players in the league. Any good books (or websites, other than nfl.com!) you would recommend?

foxsports nfl is a better site for me, adam schien's cosmic schien video put up on thursday is always worth watching.

Just watch Sky
NFL total access Americas game (saturday morning) - shows all the old superbowl games Gameday - Sunday nights You can also read sports llustrated online. Peter king is an excellent writer no point in books really. glad you like the game, its a fantastic sport once you understand it |

a book called next man up
it follows the Baltimore ravens for a year, gives a good insight into what happens behind the scenes, training camps, why players are cut then brought back etc, all in all a good read |

Next Man Up is a fantastic book, one of the best I have read! Also LT: over the Edge is brilliant. Although thats just more for entertainment!

I'll give you a good read. Snake! the Ken Stabler story. As a long time Seahawks fan, I always hated the Raiders, but this is a laugh out loud story in a time where the Raiders ruled.
