Seems that ESPN have lost the contract and all NHL content has now been removed from the ESPN Player.

Anyone know where we'll be able to watch the live action online this season?

Big blow without ESPN player but the options look to be either ESPN America on TV or maybe this link which is dirt cheap for the season and only lose peanuts if it turns out useless.

The Betfair forum looks both dead and full of undesirables these days mate so i'm frequenting the covers.com forum , it's a more serious American sports forum and a lot better quality than here in all honesty.

See you over there and good luck for the season  Happy

Russia here. NTV plus, our leading sport tv sattelite provider don't have NHL games at 6 October. Scandinavian network Viasat which showed NASN (ESPN Europe) is full of baseball etc. but no NHL.......
I bought VPN and will try to look like american IP to get Yahoo broadcasts at least. My friend who likes NHL but prefers to sleep at nights, already adopted tradition of downloading torrented games from nhltorrents.co.uk site to watch next day.

Today KHL made giant step towards  punters money. Match between Atlant and Vytiaz was shown on Betfair Live video. For some magic resaon the game shown was an obvious fix, but any live ice hockey is good.

It appears that NHL Gamecentre is now open to European registration. It's $160 for the season, or 8 * $20 installments, more expensive than ESPN player but at least its a lifeline to live action.

I signed up and it appeared ok when i watched Hamburg v LA Kings Love last night.

What do you fancy tonight CJ?

Hoping Flyers/Bruins put on a real spectacle (ie goals) and I have a feeling for Montreal as well.

Smallest of stakes of course, but so pleased its back - and FWIW I've backed Buffalo to win the cup - they have bought/traded well

All the best

fingerinciderreason is all over internet, basically, someone offered more money than ESPN for the rights and afterwards couldn't sell it at higner price.
We all know here how painful it is to cut losses, but they would sooner or later succumb and agree to sell at lower price, hehe

Sorry guys, not been on here for a while. Drew, Have also backed the Sabres, & the Kings. Early days, but hopefully both can make the play-offs.

Anyone else getting fed up with the blank screen and annoying music during ad breaks and periods on Gamecentre? It does my head in, would much rather watch ads for Applebees and Geiko!
