as for the order, consider what the max pts the best player in each category will get (ignoring outlandish freaky performances), and how many of each you need.
qb 320 rb 260 but you will need min 2 wr 210 but you will need min 2, maybe 3 depending on your league te 150 k 150 d 170
that pretty much gives you an order. the biggest decision is usually whether to take a top rb or a top qb with your 1st pick. but as i said it depends what position you're in and what the others have gobbled up.

forgot to say - not sure if yahoo have a mock draft facility, but if they do then try it. if they don't then sign up to nfl.com or espn and try mock drafting there.

being your first draft i'd stick to the top 4 or 5 in yahoos rankings when your pick comes around and take your fav player from them
