Hi Guys,

i've entered a free yahoo fantasy football league via one of my mates (about 6-7 players in league so far)

now our draft is on Sunday and i don't know what to do

i have fairly good knowledge of the players at all 32 teams etc....

but im more looking to help in who i need to recruit first?

RB? QB?

what kind order should i make my picks within the draft example

RB, QB, WR, RB, TE, K Etc

any adivce be grateful

it depends on your position in the draft and what the other 9 fruitcakes are drafting.

as for the order, consider what the max pts the best player in each category will get (ignoring outlandish freaky performances), and how many of each you need.

qb 320
rb 260 but you will need min 2
wr 210 but you will need min 2, maybe 3 depending on your league
te 150
k 150
d 170

that pretty much gives you an order. the biggest decision is usually whether to take a top rb or a top qb with your 1st pick. but as i said it depends what position you're in and what the others have gobbled up.

forgot to say - not sure if yahoo have a mock draft facility, but if they do then try it. if they don't then sign up to nfl.com or espn and try mock drafting there.

following on from ^^^

i'd never take a qb first pick



being your first draft i'd stick to the top 4 or 5 in yahoos rankings when your pick comes around and take your fav player from them

only qb i'd take in first round would be vick if available

was going to take one top rb's in all likely hood

thanks for help guys, if any more comes to light or any others have advice then im all ears
