My highlight was the Rockies game, which was coasting along nicely at 1-1 in the bottom of the 6th.
Chad Qualls comes in (he has given up one run in his last bazillion appearances) with a couple inherited, and the Rockies plate 5. I sweat out the game, on under 8.5, and in the top of the ninth, down to their last out on a 0-2 count, the Padres score to go over. [>o] The dog has sent away for a knacker protector. |

that sounds very harsh

Ok ... My turn, GVL.
So last night, K-Rod blows a two run save in the bottom of the ninth (**** happens) but then Atlanta wins it in extras ON A TWO OUT BALK!? ![]() I win ![]() |
By:
lol didn't see that. was watching the sox and thought tampa bay were going to level it in the 9th. chaotic random sport to bet on
![]() is there a stats site that lists p/l for pitchers? covers.com has p/l for teams at vegas odds but can't find any for pitchers. want to try opposing the so-called stud pitchers, as they do lose, and at good odds. |
By:
...
http://www.covers.com/pageLoader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/mlb/statistics/2011/startermoneystatistics_mlb_regular.html That sort of thing? |
By:
aha! starter = pitcher. the penny drops.
|
By:
hmmm might not be such a good idea opposing stud pitchers

By:
opposing Halladay run line was pretty profitable earlier in the season
|
By:
I used to oppose Santana early in the season in his pomp and it was a usually a nice little start.
Jimenez' figures are interesting. |

what a useless bunch of pinch hitters nyy just sent in for the 9th. they just fcking stood there lol fix???
|
By:
They just didn't look 'at it' at all. Bizarre.
It happens, I suppose, but I thought they'd be up for a game against the Cubs. Garcia was surprisingly poor and Davis (a rag arm imo) three hit them! Pinch hitters striking out looking in the ninth drive me mad though ![]() Ah well. |
By:
I was really tempted to back Cubs earlier
![]() ![]() |
By:
after that insipid perf last night and up against dempster i'm going to lay nyy now. plus i remember this burnett bloke was well dodgy last year, though apparently been better this year. anyway, i am officially sh1te at this, so you should all get on nyy with your full banks

this is one of only 2 days during the tennis season when there's no tennis and i'm shockingly bored. so i'm going to type some garbage on here. i'm going to try one of these tipping freds that i see on other phorums, even though i'm shockingly bad and ignorant about bb

Nats: 4th, 2 on, no outs. Zimmerman is hacking away. Each game has been decided by one run - why not bunt the runners across? As it happens, they would've got one home on a bloop single by Morse.
|
By:
wimbledon has been rained on and all remaining matches called off, so i can watch the min @ sf game.
i'm going to reset back to the start of the reverse martingale cycle, as there's no way i can get 5 in a row ![]() 9 back minn 1pt @ 2.56 (if that wins i will be livid! ![]() |
