Under over on length of "brave" seems to be around 6 seconds.
From what I can find, she seems to give so much on "free" that it knackers her out and the "brave" peters out to 4 or 4.5

Hi Lori , heres the annual "special bet" thread :)
We have the video footage of a really rough looking CA singing at the basketball recently and that comes in around 1.53/1.54
However , it tails of at the end because the crowd start cheering and she doesnt give it the full welly that she does to some of the other words. As you say , she is far longer on the FREEEEE than on the BRAAAAAVE. I reckon she will hang that bit out longer as thats the crowning glory.
The over 1.54 is with Boyles but I think the bet is with Padd Power who narrow it down even more. They go 5-4 that the anthem is between 106-120 seconds. Given that the basketball effort is 113/114 that gives us a lot of leeway I think with +7 seconds
I reckon 106-120 at 5-4 Paddys
I dont know if its possible , but we had a thread every year for these specials and last year we made a load on the "who will the MVP thank first". I think we backed "no-one on the list" at a nice price instead of "god", "teammates" , "crowd" etc. I see PP have a market for this as well. Worth a look.

I think she's actually trying to hold "brave" fwiw, seen the same pattern on three different ones.
I'm a little more concerned than usual taking the overs this year on the 1:54, she seems to rattle through the middle sections. at 10/11 it's probably okay but it's 4/6 at the dog.

I can't find any advert betting this year, but if you have access to any American accounts, you might want to try to get on Volkswagen..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R55e-uHQna0&feature=youtu.be
Yep after my research in the week, i dont like the 1.54 myself, but that spot wallis on the seconds is defo worth a bet.
Was a good thread last year, i remember we were all on the over national anthem length and she started fast and hung it luckily.

I tell you what its a close call on the under/overs
I went back and timed it again just now and its almost bang on the 1.54
At the end of Brave she turns it into a "whooooo" and that as stupid as it sounds might swing it.
Anyway , good luck for the rest of the night people.
Im on the Steelers , Roeths 1st TD and Menderhall 1st TD

How come she seemed to string out every single line yet still finished it under 2 minutes.
The old memory might be playing tricks but didn't Jennifer Hudson go way over 2 mins when she sung in 2009 and I don't remember her dwelling on every line.
Have they taken out a verse since then or something !!???

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Christina Aguilera flubbed a line as she belted out the national anthem at the start of the Super Bowl.
When she was supposed to sing the line "O'er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?" she instead repeated an earlier line, with a slight variation.
She sang "What so proudly we watched at the twilight's last gleaming," which is the same line from earlier in the song but with the word `watched' instead of the word `hailed.'
The mistake immediately set social networks abuzz with people commenting on the error.
Aguilera's representative did not immediately return a call and e-mail seeking comment.

Spent most of the 1st half waiting for my Aguilera bets to settle and searching for a definitive ruling!!

This link shows it's going to be settled as either 1.53 or 1.54. It's the fact she sings an 'ohhhh' after the 'brave' that adds a couple of seconds, which could swing this bet.
