Think the best bet has to be Roethlisberger to throw more passing yards than Flacco

Flacco: 62.6% completion, throws an average of 30.6 times a game, averaging 226.4 yards a game, 10 interceptions, 40 plays over 20 yards, 7 plays over 40 yards and sacked 40 times

Big Ben: 61.7% completion, 32.4 throws on average per game, averages 266.7 yards a game, only 5 interceptions, 52 plays over 20 yards, 8 plays over 40 yards, sacked 32 times

Stats are regular season only... Big Ben has played 4 less games so quite impressive he sits 422 yards behind flacco for season total.

Ravens pass yard D is ranked 21st, compared to Steelers 12th.

Steelers are ranked 14th on Pass Offense, Ravens 20th.

Flacco's record in play offs before last week was abysmal, Chiefs D started very poor last week and allowed him to get a confident start... with 41.44 of the ball Flacco managed 248 passing yards, most in 1st Quarter.

Steelers IMO will have more of the ball tonight and I fancy them to win by a 7 or more... very surprised to see Flacco favourite on passing yards!!

Really looking forward to it, although, don't think we will see a 70 point game!

I love these bets but I always look to back the QB of the (IMO) losing team.
Strong winds and snow flurries will hinder the passing game, it looks such a tight game for me it's impossible to call, if you think the Ravens will win then yes back Big Ben, but if you think Steeler win then there'll be chewing the clock with the ground game

Dont really rate either atm.

Big Ben takes too much time

Flacco - great potential, but he needs to be more clinical in the redzone - if he was better theyd have had a superbowl, or at least have been in the game one of the two last years

Flacco is a HACK..............

Flacco was let down by those receivers brought in to make the difference but i fear his game will leave its mark like no other.
The ravens suffered a meltdown in that 3rd quarter but they had a punt return nullified on a garbage penalty, not uncommon against the steelers,a dropped catch in the end zone and a dropped catch on their last play.
You can blame the receivers and their co-ordinators for this one, flacco remains a decent talent in what is only his 3rd year.

thought the kick return penalty was harsh but fair... he didn't need to do it

Flacco 125 yards, most picked up in first two drives!
Big Ben 226 yards

[:D]

just need to get onto slybet and get them to amend their error

We write in regards to a bet placed with us earlier this evening. Due to an obvious error, the price for the selection Roethlisberger for Most Passing Yards Match Bet was incorrectly entered as 21/20 instead of the correct price of 4/5.

Whilst we strive to ensure complete accuracy in the publishing of odds, we can't accept responsibility for any errors or omissions. Therefore we reserve the right to correct obvious errors and settle bets at the correct odds.

Slybet customer service: It was what is known as an 'obvious error' and SkyBet do reserve the right to cancel and replace the bet, as stipulated in the terms and conditions you have indicated you have read, understood and agreed to. The selection won anyway, so you have still had returns.

obvious errors ! thats the price you pay for dealing with those accountants unfortunately, they dont make mistakes, ever, never.
I had a bet with that 365 shower once on a boxing match and couldnt understand why their prices seemed out of kilter with their live feed. When i enquired i was told that their live fed was one round behind !

the woman just keeps saying it is obvious error!

obvious to me would be 5/1, not 21/20!!

will be closing my account with them... truly ridiculous!
Report Saluting Darren Lockyer January 16, 2011 11:42 AM GMT
totally agree and once upon a time they would have settled at 5/1 as well, not anymore tho, totally dishnourable, the lot of em.

That's by no means an obvious mistake, worth taking up with IBAC. I'd write to the RP too if it were me. I've had them publish letters before on similar issues.
