This looks to be an asbolute classic match up, two supreme offences, with the 4th(Wisc) and 5th(TCU) rated QBs in the country.
Of course TCU has a rock solid defence, ranked 1st in the entire country, conceding a paltry average of 11.4 points per game.
Both teams average a monster 43.3 points per game offensively and sure TCU will be able to make enough plays on defence to gain a few stops against the Badgers.
Defence beats offence in my eye(especially when the offences are equal) so it's TCU all the way for me, SU.

Considering the quality of their opponets, colour me skeptical about their numbers on defence.
True, but you could apply the same to the Wisconsin offence, only played 2 top 25 ranked teams won 1 and lost 1.

Just had a trawl through both teams schedules and TCU have played some absolute rotten teams this year.

Its always difficult to know in bowl games. Playing in different conferences, a helluva lot more time to prepare. At least for this one motivation doesn't seem to be a problem.
So I'm switching to Wisconsin, common consensus is that their huge running backs Monte Ball and John Clay can trample the TCU D

Heard that the average size of Wisconsin's OL is 6ft 5in 325lbs... Bigger than some NFL teams!!!

Not sure about the standard of WIS's secondary... Always worth considering, a dodgy secondary can make anyone look good, just like a good OL can make any RB look good.

Dalton is apparently projected at 5th round if he enters. I can't believe that personally. He probably doesn't fit the mechanics that NFL scouts look for. Mechanics don't win you games though and this QB does,2nd overall win record.

I don't know if its the coverage or routes, but Wiscys quarterback takes entirely too long to get rid of the ball
I'd say it's more that he is used to getting a lot of time given that the O-Line has been so dominant this year

May I just say that when I fancied WIS getting the 2 pointer that I thought the would do the obvious and get behind that big OL and let Clay ride it in.
