Flights and hotels booked, but I have no tickets yet.  I know I'll need to pay over the odds however tickets in Miami last year went for only $100-$200 above face value ($800 this year).  What should I do?

How much would you be willing to pay for a top price ticket?

Them eagles did everything to mess last nights game up...produced the goods after messing it up.

We're considering paying £3,250 now for decent seats. Albeit $800 tickets.  I was told "so long as a New York team or Green Bay don't make the Superbowl, seats would go for about $2,000 per pair.

Or do we go for the £3,000 (GBP) now and hope a new york team does make the Superbowl (Can't see it myself I think both teams are poor).  Then we could sell the seats and make enough to go to Indy next year

My brother lives and works in the states for a drinks company..he was given 2 seats last year for the 2nd season running....so hard to call howie..

It's a big stadium to fill with $800+ seats, I see the NFL have started selling tickets in Europe through tour operator TUI (Thomsoms)
Report SteelCurtain November 22, 2010 8:19 PM GMT
the steelers operate a tickets exchange howie 4 fans that cant get 2 regular games, not sure that would work at the superbowl, might b worth getting in touch with your teams ticket office or fanclub if your in one, good luck.
Report horse9 November 22, 2010 11:02 PM GMT
Ticket exchange on NFL.com have cheapest seats at $1943, decent seats betwen 20 yard line and midfield are around $2500, if you're making the trip I would probably want the comfort of knowing I had tickets to the game already wrapped up.
Should be agreat experience, certainly something on my 'to do' list.
Good luck getting them and enjoy !

Bit the bullet today and applied for 2 tickets between the 20yd and 40yd - up in the gods.  Lets hope 2 decent teams make the big one now.

What a weird season, not sure what we've learned going into week 13
I'd still have Green Bay down as the strongest chance, they kind of beat themselves in Atlanta with some bonehead decisions.  I think we can dismiss Indy from the AFC with that shocking performance (at home).  They will get hammered playing like that in New England or Baltimore, they are a 1 man team on the downslide.
Report HARRY22 November 30, 2010 12:54 PM GMT
the thing is howie they didnt get hammered in new england...they had a shot on that last drive....they cant be that bad if they get collie addai bracket and session back, can they?...them 4 are big players..

Quick chance to bounce back on Thursday night, but if they don't win that I'm writing them off for the Superbowl.  This is a very strange season.
I can't have Atalanta as fav's but I do understand their odds are justifiably short because they could win-out and be in their fortress in the post-season.

By the way.  I've just been sent this e-mail from the NFL - should anyone be doubting my forthcoming trip[:o]  They have cut my tickets the the "NFL experience" but we can have tickets in the 'J' section instead of 50 yard line in the gods - where would you sit?  High and central or central corner?

The change just means that there is no NFLX included in your package – it is a theme park at the convention center.  This piece only comes with the White packages.

Transportation is not included in any of our packages…unfortunately!!!

Blue J is available if you would like to change your contract – that should not be a problem just let me know what you think!!!

Not a problem, ask as many questions as you would like!!!

Thanks again!

Deanna

it is a fortress in terms of their record but a lot of their wins are late in the game...they arent blowing good teams away...no team should be bothered one bit imo about playing them in the dome.
Report HowieTheRookie. December 3, 2010 6:35 PM GMT
I think Mr Vick would like the opportunity to play back in the Dome - Falc's wouldn't be happy me thinks
Report HARRY22 December 3, 2010 7:05 PM GMT
Picture the scene..falcons for once dont end up with the ball on the final drive...eagles on the falcons 40..expecting a passing play, jackson and macklin stretch the field...the pocket collapses.mike has no choice but to take off,too the 30,the 20,to the 10,avoids a tackle TD eagles, michael vickkkkkk, time expires and keeps running down the tunnel Grin

who u liking in the big games this weekend howie??home teams to come through?
Report HowieTheRookie. December 9, 2010 11:19 PM GMT
I wrote off the Jets & Chargers this weekend, I think the picture is starting to clear a little.

I got a payment request for parking at the stadium - $71.40 per permit, plus shipping via FedEx Includes sales tax

Christ that's currently fifty quid to park the car - I think I should have waiting until the Superbowl is back in New Orleans.

Believe it or not we're staying at a Best Western in Fort Worth and I checked out the closest bar, the advertise themselves as the Official Texas Branch of The New Orleans Saints.  I think we will be made welcome in there
Report HARRY22 December 13, 2010 2:08 AM GMT
Grin its fate howie...the saints are destined to return...i may look like a dick when they go out in the playoffs but im super confident in this team returning...think they are getting better each week and everyone looks like they will be healthy for the playoffs
