I really don't like this rule -- why not settle it as a "dead heat" like in horseracing?
Today, for instance, in the Jets/Browns game, I traded all day and was fortunate enough to be green on both teams -- and lucked out at the end to avoid being shut out.

Dead heating ties is stupid if you ask me. Proper American sports books don't do it, so why should Betfair?

Works both ways, sometimes it would be to your massive advantage, but it is very rare anyway.

i may be mistaken but i think there is generally more than 2 horses in a race |

It makes it impossible to hedge a lay of the tie without going elsewhere.

cud always put money up in the winning margin market-probably have to give away a bit of value but it does exist(the hedging facility)
