Can anyone with more knowledge than me confirm if the Steelers defence is as good as it seems to be so far?

Have they played anyone of a decent standard so far? I've not been following this so far this season. I just fancy a bet on the C4 live match tonight.

Two bets I'm interested in are Pittsburgh outright and New Orleans under 22.5.

it seems the steelers are not so popular tonight which i cant figure out...problem last season was when troy polamalu was injured...he is a beast and is the difference between them being good and brilliant D...they make big plays when its needed...hard to say if its the best D in the league but its one of them.

also u ask if they have played anyone of quality so far...this season is the most open in many years so its hard to gage which teams are of what quality.. beat atlanta (nfc south leaders) beat titans (afc south leaders) lost a close one to baltimore... dont think anyone can give you an answer tbh...they have been winning without big ben so the D has been producing the goodsCool

more to the point, no's running off is garbage with their 1st and 2nd string rb's out. pitt can ignore that and just go for brees. strange odds.

is pierre still out tonight?  i dont understand the odds...the browns beat them up lol

Dnot as good as 2years ago but getting there troy is the x-factor best DB in the league they should hold the saints 2 less than 20 points gl

Steelers D:
8th most INTs (8).
8th most sacks (17).

Injuries
DE Aaron Smith (triceps)
DE Brett Keisel (calf)

Saints:
Turned it over 8 times in their last three games.
Drew Brees is coming off a 4-INT game (two were returned for TDs).
Brees has 10 INTs already on the year.

it's a tad tricky to know what effect those injuries to the pitt d line will have. on further thought might sit this out lol (you don;t have to bet you know? Blush )

The victory may have been costly, though. End Aaron Smith, the most significant cog up front in the Steelers' 3-4 defense, tore his left triceps in the first half.

Smith is likely out until at least late December, if not for the season. It's the third significant injury for Smith in four years, and a look at the team with and without him speaks volumes. In the last 15 games Smith has missed -- postseason included -- the Steelers are 7-8 and have allowed averages of 22.5 points and 114.1 rushing yards.

With him, they're 23-7, yielding one fewer touchdown per game and 71.4 yards on the ground.

Well their defence aint too shabby but neither is New Orlean's.

I'm going to call it a night. I'll check the result in the morn when it'll probably be something like 24-38 or something stupid! [:o]
