isnt vincent jackson expected to play? all them huge receivers v pats small secondary plus home field
Report morrissey • October 18, 2010 8:06 AM BST
how have all them huge receivers gone so far this season..

couldnt back em as favs against anyone at the minute even at home as they seem to find ways to kill themselves

Well morrissey you asked the question so it would be rude not to reply...you say 'how have all them huge receivers gone so far this season'  rivers leads in pass yards, malcom floyd 4th in yards and 3 TDs,ohh and an average of 21.4 yards per catch (leads NFL) Then you have the best TE in football antonio gates who is 6th in yards and has more TDs than any other receiver (7), he may be injured tho...and its possible vincent  may return who does a lot of damage..so the answer to the question is These receivers have been excellent [;)]   but their record is poor.has to click eventually, -3 spread suggests most people think the same way

you will be piling into the pats -3 then?
Report HARRY22 • October 18, 2010 9:25 AM BST
+3

so ppl keep saying that the 49ers will become a good side and they will keep winning

i suppose the law of averages suggests that eventually even the stupid are right if they keep repeating the same mantra

the chargers have found ways to throw games away in almost every game this season against a variety of skill levels.

i think i may just have a lump on the pats.. i may wait though and hope that ppl like you force the line up in my favour..

the chargers have had four years of post season play and maybe this is the year they start dropping off. there is tension in the ranks and the fans on the radio talk shows are getting at norv as well

i just find it funny ppl like you cant get past your negative bias on teams really. all evidence shows that the pats are a good team and yet you wont admit it.

fair enough but im glad i dont look at it like that

nope it suggests that the bookis who set the line think its an even game at worst,.,. and that in these situations the home team ALWAYS gets a 3 point start. if the line drops to 2.5 or less you know where the cash will be going. thought you might have known that

san diego always start the season like mugs. i got the patriots for the division but even i think they will probably lose at san diego.
Report HARRY22 • October 19, 2010 10:13 AM BST
The jets should win the east...granted they got lucky on sunday but denver are'nt mugs....

morrisey...You would excpect a high scoring affair chargers v patriots...if you like the patriots you have to take the +3 now surely?? come friday-saturday gates may be ruled out and then it will drop especially if jackson aint playing.
Report morrissey • October 19, 2010 1:54 PM BST
wont drop by much if at all.. the pats are a public team ill grant you but the chargers ALWAYS get bookies running for cover a little because of the potency of their attack.

Top rated D as well. Pity about those fecking special teams and Uncle Norv!

Looking at the points Seahawks, Oakland and Rams put past them I'd hate to think how many points a good team would put up. It#s not surprising they've got good stats they must have had the easiest schedule out of all NFL teams.

Hate to say it but Vikes 5/4 at GB look value.

Massive injury crisis and 2 sickening defeats have GB looking shell shocked recently. Always struggle to stop the run so AP could be some weapon.
Report HARRY22 • October 20, 2010 6:41 PM BST
i agree...think the vikes will still win this division

Does this mean you'll be watching the game at home this week?  Confused

Packers get Matthews back and he's massive for their line.
It's a tough game to call, my only advise for anyone playing would be to ignore h'caps and play outrights, line was around 3 and now 2, doubt there'll be more than a FG in it

Took a 50 euro double on the 2 x +13lines... Crazy giving such a start, especially against The Saints. Both going ok so far.
