Yeah, you're about 10 seconds ahead on hockey and golf coverage and can snipe the market senseless.

Vancouver is a great city. Much better than the UK.

Quicker pictures on hockey yes but if the game isn't televised in the UK there is no market.

A sports betting government lottery that sometimes makes big boo- boo's. They once lost millions on pre season NBA totals.  Grin

I would say probably Montreal or Halifax for a good party atmosphere.

I worked in Vancouver from 2001-2005 and loved the city.  Really got me into the hockey and a season ticket is a must.

Downtown is ok at weekends but nothing too rowdy, great if you are into the outdoors lifestyle.

Weather in Vancouver very similar to Manchester.  USually ok in the summer but typically rains from november to March.

Any other questions on places to live, taxes, etc, let me know.

Toronto is excellent, Halifax although good for the party lifestyle and small population (400,000) can be a pain work-wise.  Spent equal time there in and out of work, which did my head in.  Montreal is my favourite city party wise, loved sailing there. Alberta is the cheapest tax wise, although winters there can be harsh, -30 cel not uncommon

live in vancouver

love vancouver

lots of epl coverage as well as some italian and spanish league coverage

downside property values on the high side and public transit leaves alot to be desired

oh and was stated earlier constant rain from nov to feb however very little if any snow

Very little snow and they still got the olympics.

Forgot about Calgary as a party city. Seems its only been that way since about the spring of 2003. Not my kind of city. Would only go for a Canucks road trip tbh.
