Seeing as I don't want to be banned from this forum as Ace High apparently was, I will not critisize him, just point out his mistakes he made in the Racing Post today...

Simon's recommendation for various games highlight odds that are worse than others available, he recomends Carolina +7 at 5-6 while you can back Carolina + 6.5 at 10-11 at various bookies. It seems he believes a +7 handicap is better than a +6.5 handicap even though they are exactly the same. He makes this mistake various times in his recommendations.

He also writes 'Brown is a rookie left tackle' refering to Jamaal Brown the former New Orleans player who is obviously not a rookie, as well as writing 'while right tackle Williams underperformed when he was with New Orleans' talking about the actual rookie first round pick who obviously never played for the Saints. It is only a slight mistake mixing up the two names but it shouldn't happen.

So for him to get banned from the forum for a comment that now seems justified is just wrong...

Erm...suppose Carolina lose by exactly seven, which line is better?

Both bets will lose, there is no dead heat rule or draws available in the NFL handicap markets...

Half points are crucial in NFL especially when the spread is exacly 1 score.
I agree with Milham, I'd rather have the Panthers +7 5/6

I could give you a lecture on betting key numbers in NFL - but I'm busy making snacks for kick off! [;)]

To be fair to Milham too, presumably his copy has to be in rather sooner than 5pm on a Sunday.

How good he is at picking, and factually correct he is, people can judge for themselves - perhaps a running profit/loss thread for the lad?

As I said before, I doubt he complained about Ace High.

Arthur Bitter.....if the line is Carolina +7

and game finishes New York Giants 21 Carolina 14

Who wins then? ...the punters who back New York -7 or the punters who backed Carolina +7

This is ace high himself, speaking through anothers account.  Sadly, it’s true, some JOBSWORTH reported me to the forum for calling a racing post tipster a clown (factual comment imo!).

Lifetime ban, no appeal!  Well, Im disappointed in the fact that this website doesn’t respect free speech and those who died for it, and also the fact that it has no regard for its paying customers.

And it is quite amusing that to see a rag which encourages the already poor to lose more money (whilst painting itself as their friend) take the moral high ground.  Goob job no right thinking individual buys the thing.

Once again, the person that reported me is an absolute JOBSWORTH, who was probably bullied at school.

Have a good season fellas!

Last year, I don't know if they're doing the same this year, Sunderlands and Ladbrokes did a refund on handicap ties for NFL and rugby league.

The R Post recommended 1 spread bet yesterday - sell Seattle performance for 1 pt at 37. Make-up 90 (that is, his followers lost FIFTY-THREE TIMES THEIR STAKE).
