"The shows will be contemporary in presentation and style,
but fans should expect a little taste of the past in there as well.
We expect it to be a lot of fun."

i hope this means gary and mike Happy

GET THE FCK IN!

Great scenes. I hope they have the bits of the Channel 4 logo making a footballer blowing steam again. Love How innocent we were back then, watching highlights of games that had taken place a week before, while new games were actually taking place. Love

This could signal the end of my marriage!

Thankfully, a member of the Veterans' Fantasy NFL league is clearly smitten with me, so I'll be able to move on.

Whether I'm ready to live in Bulgaria is another question.

Channel 4 will show American football again this season, bringing back a mountain of memories for long-time supporters of the sport.
The channel will screen the late Sunday match live every week, with coverage beginning at 1am and the matches at 1.20am.
The first match will be between Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys on September 12.
Back on Channel 4: American football will be live on our screens every week

The NFL was first shown back in 1982 on Channel 4, with its 'American Football' show. The coverage evolved into a mixture of live, highlights and magazines shows. For many fans, the channel will always be seen as the natural home for the sport on British televison.

Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL UK, said: 'This is very exciting news. Not only does this deal ensure that the NFL’s biggest game of the week and the sport’s most exciting stars are available on free-to-air television in the UK, but it takes the league back to the station that many of our fans grew up watching all those years ago.'

He was on Radio 5 live yesterday droning on about something - I swear he said Siduashons about 3 timesShocked

No idea how he got that gig - I can't stand listening to him and hated him on the Ch5 show.
