I know what you mean ...have some cockend in the Veterans Roto League who still has Mike Cameron in his line up ...if you don't get serious players the League is spoiled ...you're right.

the cockend your refering to has not watched a single game of baseball since losing interest back in april after it suddenly dawned on him he knew nothing about it and only gets excited about it for a few weeks as its an american sport and he's on the comedown from the nfl

besides i paid my way into that league so you shouldn't be complaining that i'm playing a disabled player.

I think that this might be the same cockend who emailed me moaning about me trading Cabrera when he had sat on the block for a week and only once the trade went through did he shout. Clown never realised that there was a veto button if he didn't like it.

BUT ...

Reg, if you'd bothered to reply I'd have told you that I did veto the trade as did one other - unfortunately we need 6 vetos ...and once people lose interest you get lopsided trades. At the end of day it's not unreasonable to complain about a trade that obviously favours one player esp as that likely impacts on the final result 

...I don't doubt you thought you'd improve your team but giving up a 1st round pick for Hunter and Ike Davies was disappointing

Same goes with football ...Brees for Roethlisberger would create an immediate storm ... similarly if you're 3-8 going in to the final week it's disappointing for others if you don't set your roster because you can no longer qualify for the playoffs.

Bottom line is these leagues work best when people partcipate as long as possible ...and there is a core of us who do irrespective of where we finish ...
