Not very if that o-line doesn't learn how to run block so some of the load can be given to AP. Favre a gunslinger and a clutch QB who will get the job done but unless you can run the ball, your one-dimensional and a dream for an opposing defense.

Thanks Joey-Boy1.
I was thinking more along the lines of what Travaris would have done? Surely this is worth a few games to them? Or not/....? Egos are important |

oh he's better than tavaris jackon, he brings leadership, experience and more ability to the position.

and the negatives?
he could miss games through injury....is he stunting travaris' development? how do the rest of the locker-room appreciate the preseason games? |
|
By:
rest of the locker room realise they have more to gain than lose with Favre and will be right behind him imo

how have the books reacted to the news?

Price collapsed.
Price on here was at 25s a week or so ago, now it is 15.5!!!!!!!! Not sure about high street bookies but I got some on at 20/1 just after the news broke, now it's down to 14/1 |

They're a contender with Favre, also-rans without him. Jackson is a middle of the road QB and Rosenfels a career back-up.
They should have dumped at least one of them and picked Clausen in the Draft to sit for a year behind the starter - Rosenfels would have been a good mentor; Favre would have been a great mentor. That O-line needs work though, AP can't do it all on his own, although I loved the Gerhart pick. |

Think Rice being out for possibly the first half of season is a big concern
....was Favre's go to last season.Harvin's migraine problem getting worse doesn't help neither. Favre getting another ex-packer in Javon Walker to help him out....wonder what walker has to say on Favres off-season shenanigans Favre had plenty to say about Walker when he was angling for a new contract in Green Bay. |
