It's good but it seems a bit more arcade-style that before, especially if you use the 'gameflow' function which just picks plays for you which means can get through a game insanely quickly (I hate it).
A lot of the new additions can be turned off (the play caller giving you instructions about when/where to throw the ball).
The audible and adjustments at the LOS have been moved to an entirely new menu and I have no idea why. To adjust to a hot route you now need to press the D pad about 4 times as well as select the receiver and the route you want him to run and all the coverage adjustments etc are the same - I have no idea why they changed it.
Online is apparently a lot better but I haven't played yet so can't review it.

It's alright. On default it resembles Arena Football but with slider adjustments it's playable. The running game is very nicely done. Special teams are, somehow, worse than last year - quite an achievement.
Still not as good as NFL 2K5. How embarrassing for EA that they haven't come remotely close to matching a game which is now six years old.
