Jaime Garcia has probably been the best rookie pitcher in the majors, getting a lot of ground balls with his looping curve. Joe Blanton pitched as well as he has in his whole career after the AS break in '09 but this is his first start in 2010 after injury.
If you could guarantee that Blanton would be as good as he was down the stretch last year, 11/10 Phillies would be a decent bet. But with the uncertainty about Blanton, and with the Phillies facing a pitcher they don't know much about, I'm plumping for -- NO BET.
