in a rain delay right now and looking at the webcams its thundering and lightning, and they look as though they have no chance in resuming..its in the 6th and cinci are 3-2 up and theres a k siting there at 1.25, surely this is value if there little chance in resuming??..

Someone on St Louis forums saying that it could be picked up tomorrow starting at 12:10pm but I thought the rules would make it a Cinci win to be honest. The poster in question says they got their info from the press box at the game.
confusing this, thought like yourself it settled as a cinci win, they have an early start as it is 2moz so dont see how they can get this in before 2mozs game?
If Cinci were winning going into the 6th it would def be a win for them but they took the lead in the top of the inning just before rain delay, does this matter?

i always thought after 5 innings or (4.5 innings if the home team was ahead) the result was the score as when they went off regardless whether it was the top or bottom of the innings, odd.

I agree, rules read as Cinci win for me. I was on StL for what it's worth so I'm hoping for some agreement to come back tomorrow! What's annoying is that the umps let Penny throw in really heavy rain top of the 6th which allowed the lead change. They could have called it earlier or at least while tied for fairness.
Seems a lot like a game few years ago between Yankees and Orioles.
Expect the same ruling. As there's a change of lead in the top of the inning, I expect the will suspend the game and play it on another day.

The NYY / BAL game was unable to be replayed for a month because it was the end of a series but the Reds are at the Cards all weekend - not a problem. I remember the game Capone, it caused scandal on Betfair 'cos they left it open for a month rather than voiding and tied up people's funds!
thats why they have the 3 day rule now, they will have to cram it in 2moz some time then.
they couldnt have given the game to the reds anyway. its a fairly straightforward rule imo. you cant have a team winning the game when theyve took an innings extra to get in the lead.

ive being doing it since the 1st day of the season with the odd day off but ive done since sunday now straightand today i really felt wrecked after the hockey, wish i never got involved in this game, would have had an early one otherwise!
